  YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It’s hard to be patient. You’re 18! I guarantee it!
  
  But there’s no reason to kill or give up eveything! It doesn’t work that way! :)
  
  All I can tell you is that it will happen unless you live on a secluded island and you’re the only person on the island.
  
  Interestingly - it often happens when you’re not looking. First thing is to be friendly, courteous and respectful if you’re looking for a girl. A friendly smile and hi is a fabulous start and if you’re not doing that to women you cross your path on a street - anywhere or any age - time to get practice even if it’s someone you’d never date. You might make their day…. And one day….if you’re in line at the grocery store - or someplace else - who knows….your friendly confident easy going smile and pleasant hi might be what starts a conversation.
  
  The first thing is to find others and be friends with them. Who knows- they might have friends too.
  
  Again - the answer is yes! You won’t find the perfect one instantly - that’s the odds and wouldn’t be best for you anyway. That’s just a numbers game and a random person isn’t for you. Get to know a number of people - or find tips or ask how to do so - if that doesn’t come normal to you!

  The best advice is keep writing. You have an excellent beginning!
  
  Here’s a little feedback. It doesn’t mean my feedback is correct, and there are not 10,000 other ways to do it. This is my style of editing snd writing.
  
  I’d perhaps consider that your paragraph above might fit better in entirely as an intro section, versus the start of a book, of copy on the fly leaf.
  
  There’s no wrong way to start a book and nothing is wrong. Just keep going….that’s the hardest part. Don’t worry about editing it any further!!!!!
  
  Specific Feedback:
  I might not focus on this being a story. They can assume that, so maybe no need to tell them it’s a story, etc.

  Here’s a condensed start without mentioning that they’re reading a story.
  
  
  It was a miserable time in his life. He was angry with everyone, for no specific reason. This boy was different than other teen-agers, he knew it. (Add - where are his emotions - what is the issue right then at that moment that will allow you to get to this sentence.
  
  He was rescued by someone who never even knew he had saved him. Who probably will never know. This is Darmiks story.
  
  (This leaves mystery that I like - where I want to read the next paragraph.)
  
  How to get to the next paragraph….(or the rest of the book)
  (This is just one technique.
  
  Write down different stories that are compelling to you in your life with a beginning middle and end. These may be snapshots - a paragraph - a few pages - etc. It could be the scene where he was that related to what was in his head.
  
  (you mention teen-ager so might want to start with that age period first.)
  
  Don’t worry about order at first. Do that later - you can always put them in order. You can always put bridges around them to make them make sense. You can always find an editor to edit it to make you sound superb. However, if you can write in order - you have a talent that I’ve yet to master.

  What’s super helpful to me:
  
  Write out a paragraph mission statement of why you want to write the book and what you want others to get out of it, or if for yourself - then enjoy the process and see where it leads………………………………………
  
  Write down 10 thoughts of what you want in the book in any order.
  That becomes the outline (you can adjust at anytime, delte or add)
  
  superb! Don’t worry about anything - just put pen to paper and go!! You’ve got this section done above in an edited form you like - so go go go!
  
  We’re waiting for the story to begin. Bravo. There are some excellent starting points above.
  
  Again - there’s no correct or wrong way. This is just one technique and style of how to go forward.
  
  You’re done with the above. Later….you can revise if needed.

  Take it hour by hour and praise yourself if you can get through another hour, sometimes it is just taking it minute by minute. Those minutes - try breathing exercise for a couple of minutes focusing on your breath and breathing in slowly, or counting slowly back from 200 or 300 and breathing slowly. Find something else that might be calming, or at least distract you. Stand on your head if necessary or do 40 jumping jacks (it’s an exercise of jumping with your hands over your head, if the term isn’t familiar).
  
  I’m glad you are looking for help and coming here if you can’t get it at home. Do read some of the links I sent you earlier in this post, and you are in control to get other help - and see a doctor, counselor, call befrienders up on the phone - despite the consequences. You have control over doing that and you never know the answer until you try - and by doing something positive - you never know - it could help you. You are smart enough to think of a way to sneak away to a health center at school, or call befriender’s from somewhere else.
  
  Hang in there….and I know it’s impossible…but try to keep hold of something positive and not cycle down into needing to cut yourself. Cutting doesn’t mean you’re a bad person or you’re crazy, by the way, it’s an obstacle in life and something that can hurt you very badly, and best to get help as early as possible, as it’s easier to break habits, addiction, compulsive problems, so if you can get some help. You appear very smart - so if you were advising a friend - how would you get her to get help or help her if she was in your shoes. Read up about cutting on medical websites so you can learn ways to adapt, and maybe figure out more about it.

  What’s the reason for your concern on this topic Riosy?
  
  There are many debates regarding end of life care and the role of physician assisted suicide. Due to the advancements in pain relief, medicine, etc., there are different thoughts to this, that end of life can be managed in a painless environment.
  
  If you need some debate foder - there are a number of stories, links on this - but what’s your personal reason for asking? Is it a concern to you or someone you know?
  
  I’m a firm believer that depression and other mental concerns have a biological chemical relationship since it is neurons that are firing in your brain that say you’ll feel this or that, caused by a chemical reaction. There’s more of course than just that, but was trying to explain this without getting too far into this. That’s not to say you don’t have the ability to try to adapt or manage our responses and feelings, and “short circuit” a few things we don’t like. However, I’m not going to get into a debate, others do that much better!
  
  Many who are depressed - don’t see a way out since they can’t because of a cycling of a modd, trigger, anxiety, reaction, neuron network, chemical etc.
  
  If you keep trying and change a few things…who knows what - your surroundings, positive people, your whole life can change and it is amazing. It may not be this minute - or this day - but hour by hour - day by day…..it can get closer.
  
  However, the fear and worry can stop you in your tracks, and I know this firsthand!

  There are a number of things. Stress could shift the dates of your period. If you’re eating or sleeping differently or had difficully in that regard, or if you’ve started or stopped medication, or even potentially a major shift in anything you do. If it’s becomes later - take another test. It’s ten bucks or so worth spending for the worry. And lots of girls and women do not have exact regular periods. You’re the best judge of your body - so if you start feeling strange or weird, best to see the Doctor. Don’t forget we lose annd gain a day or so depending on the month. :)

  1. I love animals.
  2. I love plants - little sprouts thrill me!
  3. I love People - lest I forget! They rank higher than 1 and 2 and usually grow taller, but purr less. It’s a shame we don’t have tails.
  4. I am tall.
  5. I get lost driving since I’m listening to music or just end up passing the turn or the exit. I ran a toll booth accidentally years ago.
  6. I’m always up later than I should. I get tired at the wrong times, even if I try to go to bed early.
  7. Without a doubt - Diet Coke and I’m thirsty now.
  8. I don’t judge by money or clothing or rank, but wonder if I really do - if I seem to want to sit by someone who is better dressed on a bus than someone sloppy, or different. Am I prejudiced? I pull for the underdog.
  9. I don’t ever think I’ll be mature. What is mmaturity? I think it would be great to be so.
  10. I love blueberries, then watermelon, but can’t decide if blackberries, raspberries rank higher than watermelon. Lychees are great too.
