  The first thing you must do is stop worrying about all of this so that you can think and act to make this job happen. It does not matter that you’ve been out of the industry for 2 years, there’s someone out there who needs your help. You have been attempting to be an actor, which means that you went out out there to follow your dream. It takes a lot of strength and self-belief to do this. Include that experience in your resume and make sure that the objective states that you are seeking to re-enter the computer science field. Things have changed but not so significantly that you can catch up. Underneath the objective create a summary of qualification section and explain these things, your motivation, enthusiam, and your ability to learn quickly and hit the ground running. Working with a recruiter will speed things up as well. During the interview explain that you wanted to pursue your dream and after two years you realized that computer science is what you really want to do, if this is the truth. Do not apologize but play up on the opportunity this gave to learn about yourself. Get excited about this becuase it is going to happen for you. If you can’t stop the worrying and you read the Bible, read Psalm 27 3 times a day. This is a beautiful Psalm that has helped a lot of people overcome all sorts of difficulties. Everytime the thought of not finding a job comes to mind say to yourself, “I release this negative thought and let it go, I know the perfect job is on its way to me now.”

  We all need to figure out how we are going to live in this world. Running away is never the answer to anything in life because we will encounter the same issue everywhere we go. We are never going to change other people, but we should not let anyone control our lives otherwise we are going to be running for the rest of our lives. The internet can be very intense because since you can not see people, they tend to act in ways they would not do in person. This is help.com after all and when people are upset or angry what they are really doing is crying out for help. They are hurting inside. This is not the end of the world here. Everyone should be free to say what they going to say without people taking things personally. If someone is using offensive language and attacking you simply report them. There are others who are childish and like to be cute and they are mostly joking and the fact that you get upset encourages them to carry on, so you need to ignore them. It is their way of playing and you can tell most of the time. They are lonely and are looking for a playdate.
  
  You can’t come to the internet with the mind set that people are against you or are specifically trying to get at you. That is never the case. We need to learn to teach ourselves to ignore the unimportant things in life. It is healthy to take a break from site for a few days when you are feeling overwhelmed. Do something else and when you feel better come back. We are not of any help to others when we are upset or angry at the world.

  Thank you Guys! Just because of what you just said is why we are here. We are not here to solve people’s problems for them because we can not. We are here to provide them with a new way to look at things, but they need to choose what is right. No one can eat a meal for anyone. Giving someone money is never the answer because money is not really the problem, but the decisions that the person with the problem is making. We are all in this world to figure out how to make changes in our lives for the better. A man that is helped to easily becomes a leaner and not the lifter he is designed to be.
  
  As you say, it is important to have compassion for other people because in their despair they can’t see the truth so they need someone to tell it to them in the best way possible and that’s where we come in. We know that they are going to get upset but we also know their situation so we don’t get offended. If you are alwasy giving people money you are teaching them that money is the problem and not the fact that they need to get a job, not overspend, etc.

  You will know because things will fall into place and they will be right, but you need to decide now what’s really important for you in a relationship so that you are able to recognize him. You want someone who is compatible with you at all levels physically, mentally and spiritual. Someone who is honest and loyal. Do you want to marry have a family? Once you decide remind yourself often of your intention and never settle. You don’t need to seek him out. You will be led to each other when the time is right. It could happen anywhere.
  
  When we don’t really know what we’re looking for, we mistake our true soulmate for romantic partners whom we’re attracted to but aren’t really the one. You mentioned that he came into your life to help you with school. That was your priority and that’s what came into your life although you were unaware of this. Now you need to focus on what you want so that the right guy comes into your life. Better to feel a little lonely and work toward the real thing rather than being in the wrong company to later have to start all over again. Everytime you feel lonely remind yourself of what you’re looking for and know that he’s on his way. You are going to attract a really great guy. Have faith. We all can do this, just need to plan it right.

  I have been on the path to a more fulfilling existence for 8 years now and not quite there yet, but I think it is going to take me an eternity to arrive and I’m ok with that:) My goal has been to experience all that life is, yet not be moved by any of it, one way or the other. It is that place without extremes where there’s balance and no matter what’s in front of you, you remain centered and unmoved. I find the greatest joy in that place, but it takes huge effort and persistence to achieve because you are basically proving to yourself that you in fact have control over all things about you and your life. It is process of unsurmountable effort, but worth every minute of it because you are learning to be become real and alive. However, there isn’t anything more painful than to let go of the old even when it isn’t good for you because it is what is familiar and all you know, but there’s no other way to experience change especially for the better.
  
  I understand what you mean in your last sentence. It isn’t about denying the reality that is in front of us, how can we? But having a deep sense of knowing that ok this is what it is, but it is not what life’s about, I know it can different, and I know that it can be a million times better than this. But man it takes great faith to hold onto that notion until you feel your inner and outer world transform within you and before you. The answer is in the faith and the waiting and unless you stick to it to see it through until the answer comes, you can’t prove to yourself the purpose of your own existence. You also need to be ok with not knowing how long it is going to take or how it is going to happen because those things are always hidden from us. And we all know how difficult it is to not know, but that’s the challenge. Nothing of great value is ever a easy.

  It is not easy to get to that level of existence and people instinctively know it. You can’t get there overnight. It takes many years in some cases.
