I believe that when it is our time, all the forces of the universe come together to make it happen. Likewise, when God wants us to live, all the forces of the universe come together to keep us alive. I think of all the lives that did not perish the morning of 9/11. So many people who should have been at work were delayed. In that same way, only God can know when it is best for us to move out of this world and into his loving arms. I believe it happens after our mission here on earth is complete. It’s a celebration that he has moved on. But you didn’t make it happen. It’s important though that we give our loved ones permission to move on. They need to know that you will be okay… that you will be strong… that they have given you the knowledge throughout the years to allow you to move on without them. They will be happiest knowing you are okay with it. So when you talk to him, give him that permission to move on. And assure him that you will keep his love alive by sharing it with others as you move on.
