My name is Steve
I’m Single, 44yrs old 6′4″ 150lbs dirty-blonde. I live in a 120ish year old farmhouse built by my great grandfather in 1873.I like the country life, though there are alot of city life perks I miss dearly such as having a C-Store and laundry right across the street, not to mention barhoping between half a dozen clubs and never setting foot in an automombile to do it. Public transportation is a big one I miss if only for the cost of gas today. I dont miss the violence and I saw alot of it. I’ve been to the edge of life and death on the streets more than once.
I dont drink alot, very seldom. I really have to be in the mood or haying…cant hay without buds n suds. I am inclined to the native maine greenbud but thats has been the extent of my drug usage for the past 20 some-odd years. Even then I was never what I’d call a user. I smoke, again not heavily. A pack every couple days and occasionally if I’m caught up in gaming, chatting, surfing, etc. Like I am now I’ll let a half a pack burn out in the ash tray and probly smoke two of them.
I went thru a tough divorce 5 years ago after 8 years of what I had always thought was a happy marrige. My ex ran off cross country with a fella
she met on the internet. It was rather sudden and without warning. I did what I could to reconcile with her but in the end, the distance of our separation and the shame she felt she couldnt face either of our families with, ended our chapter in life.
I’ve moved on now, I have new interests, many new freinds, and my life is at a crossroads once more.
I’m trying to restructure my life, get the bills of my past out of the way and remodel my home. I have a large house which I share with my closest freind. She lived with me over the winter and we do well as roommates. She has a way of motivating me which is good as being a bachelor again has been challanging in the housekeeping department and now that I’m putting myself back on the market, it helps to have a nice home to entertain freinds and such. I’d give my life for this girl, she’s the world to me. Of all the freinds I’ve ever had she is 1 of only 3 who I could honestly say that of. I love her so much.
I’m a sucker for most causes though I tend to promote more for foreign aid and give more for domestic. I feel we need to work on our own problems as a country before we can help abroad. I’m not politicaly motivated in any way. I dont lean to the left or the right. Not REP,CON,IND,or DEM. I believe in God, I believe in Love. I believe that God is Love. I’d like to fly. I’d like to skydive someday. I like to sit in the backyard and gaze over the treeline for hours.
