  Don’t bother trying to visit the old life. Make a new one. You are where you are now, and trying to get back to where you were means nothing. We all move forward for relationships, that is the way it is supposed to be. Now you can make new friends and a new life. Get your place, your job, and your head together, and look forward. Reinvent your life to be something that reflects who you are now, not who you were then. You have changed.

  It doesn’t get any better. If he is not man enough to be on his own from the family, it will overshadow your relationship forever. If anything ever goes wrong, he will blame you. His family may turn against him and he will blame you. You may have a child and if his family turns their back, he will blame you. Your child deserves a better family. Start with a better man. Then when you do have a child with the right man, his or her life will be better. Don’t start with this guy, move on. Another one will come along. Don’t even give him an ultimatum. Just dump him. If he really does love you, he will come groveling to you. Tell him to go away. You will do better.

  You should be so happy that he has something for you. It isn’t often that guys do that for 2 months. It must have been one heck of a dinner for 1 month if he is doing something for 2 months. It will wear out over time, so enjoy it while you can, whether you decide to get him something or not. I think the best thing you can do is to tell him how much the gift means to you, and how thoughtful he is. Just dote on him for doing such a sweet thing for you, and make him feel like he is the best guy in the world for doing it. The only thing I might suggest is if he is a sports fan, movie fan, or something else, go buy a gift certificate or tickets to something you would want to go to with him, and give them to him. That way, you both win, and you show him that you appreciate the things he likes too. Maybe get tickets to a concert or ball game, race track, or a specific movie. You can buy those online, too. Just put them in an envelope, and after he gives you his gift and you make such a big deal about it, tell him you have something for the two of you, to share together and give him the envelope. It will probably be something you would go to anyway, but now it makes it even more special. It’s a win-win.

  I agree that it should be parsed better, but I think that just reflects part of the problem here. I don’t know anything about you, but your grammar and spelling speak volumes. Don’t take this wrong, because I mean this in a helpful way. I would guess that maybe this girl is playing you. She may be thriving on your attention and caring for her. She may just see it as a chance to get someone to help her with rent, or to use you. Do you send her money and gifts? Do you call her and tell her how sweet and pretty she is? She may be eating it up and making herself feel good, then going out with this other guy she really likes better. If she is dating someone else, move on. You don’t need that. Then once you get past that, take some time off for yourself. Spend some time on self improvement, self esteem, and education. You should make sure you are as much of a man and as educated as you can be. That is one thing a woman wants in a man. I say this woman is playing games, and having what she wants. I think you should just shine it on and move forward with yourself. Take a year or two to make yourself a better person, and someone she will regret missing.

  How are you reading it? Microsoft Outlook? Eudora? You may have to check your settings, but you can probably access it directly on the web instead of through the email program for now.

  You say you cannot run windows but you are online. Does that mean you are on someone else’s computer right now? If you are having trouble getting the computer up, restart and press F8 until you get the option to run in Safe Mode. See if that lets you get into your windows to update and run anti virus programs. You can also go back to a restore point and maybe get to run your computer well enough to get rid of the virus and spyware and such.

  You cannot say either way. As leader of a local singles group, I hear all sorts of stories both ways. Some say they wish they had not started that young, others say they wish they had. Just realize that there is a trade off. If someone stifles you and keeps you from being who you need to be, that is not a healthy relationship. You need someone who will grow with you and share with you. If he cannot do that, then perhaps your relationship will make you miss out. If he can swing with the pendulum, then maybe it will work out. There is no crystal ball. People let fear rule them either way. Fear that you won’t grow and will miss out, fear of being without him. You can only see where it goes in time. If you stick with him, and it hinders your progress in life, then it is not healthy. If he encourages you and helps you move forward, then it is good.
  
  Most women who regret starting early say they wish they had taken time to discover themselves and build their life first. They wish they had finished school and grown before picking a man. There is still no guarantee of a healthy relationship later. Just don’t hold yourself back from life and prosperity because you felt tied to someone. A gf of mine was very well off, with lots of school and success in her career. This all happened AFTER losing her high school sweetheart. She continued with school while married, but was not able to pursue her career until she divorced him for cheating.
  
  What I am saying is that you are letting fear control you either way. Make a choice that will be right for you and stick with it. Don’t let fear stand in the way of your future, whatever that might be. Make the choice and feel good about it.

  Have you tried to reboot? If that doesn’t work, reboot in safe mode, and see if you can access things that way. If so, then you have a problem loading up. When you turn off your computer, restart it holding down the F8 key and tell it to restart in safe mode. It will look strange, but try to access web pages and see what happens. You can find all sorts of info at http://www.bleepingcomputer.com also. Try rebooting regular first, then safe mode, then post what happens.
