  Seriously? What is up with people nowadays? This site USED to be a place where you could go for help OR be happy. People loved fun posts like this. Nowadays it’s like a bunch of uptight security guards yelling at the kids are laughing and playing at a park. This can be a helpful post. It lightens a mood, and when people are depressed, that’s definitely helping.

  Listen to me. Ignore all your thoughts. I want you to walk outside. It doesn’t matter what the weather is like.
  
  Walk around the block, or just walk. Walk and think.
  
  Why don’t you like your life? Your life is a life. That is the best thing this world can offer. Your life has value. Think about your hobbies, your interests, your skills, It’s so funny because I have been in your exact situation before.
  
  This is a frame of mind. It is only here because you allow it to be. You have a good life. Life has to be withstood. You will live through this, and will be happy. Give it time. “Good things come to those who wait.”
  
  Smile. Even if its fake, you will start to see a difference in people around you. They will be happy to be around you. They will be happy to see you smile. Then, in turn, it will make you happy as well. Happiness is like a long line of dominoes, but it can’t start until you bump the first one. Just be happy around people. Keep a smile on your face whether things are good or bad. You WILL be happy. You WILL find the person you will love and who loves you back. You are a great person, I can tell, hidden, deep inside, you are a great person. And we all see that. That is why there are so many people helping you. We all love you.

  Hey Xeno, long time no see. Your situation actually sounds like mine. Like Courty said, the cure(Not always permanent) is excitement and adrenaline. Your body begins to have an excessive amount of epinephrine that builds up so much it kind of slows you down, because your body will automatically secrete serotonin to counteract the adrenaline rush. What is very likely is that too much serotonin is used, and it creates a boredom depression. Not the depression most people talk about/have, it’s just a lack of motive.
  
  In English, you need to be more active. But normal exercise won’t do much good. You need activity that gives you a rush.
  I used FreeRunning. It fixed me multiple times quite well. ;D

  Gifts are fine, the tree is symbolic, but yeah, it is losing its meaning. I just think people revolve too much on things, and not enough on feelings.
  Also, I don’t think Christmas is a time to hang out with friends. Haha, I think it’s mainly a family thing. :P
