I’m sensitive, too sensitive, and a practiced listener and advise-giver even if I feel inept giving it (which is too many times). My self-esteem goes up and down depending on the situation and people I’m with, but I definitely like to help and dont like turning people down! Please dont hesitate to contact me!

Now for,er, my,um needs….
I am a full-time college senior residing in New Jersey and studying at a major university to complete their Political Science program…I am almost at the end of the run!
I am interested in getting mentoring/help in encouragement…. Personally, at home or anywhere I feel there is no one around me who does not want to encourage me and give me supportive advice and encouragement, especially through personal crises which I am often thrown through while trying to pass my courses. I am more than frustrated by it, and it has shown up in my grades (a couple of failures in Spring 2008) and of course this deters any plans of graduating in December as planned. I want to be able to comfortably talk to somebody about school and, in general, about things that affect school …and to hear feedback, more on the positive end, though of course negative feedback is welcomed…as long as its done gently :). I have had enough harsh criticism in my life. I dont know– I dont want to be un-productive, I want to be useful for society. But I need someone to tell me I can do it, that despite my grades I am capable, as my self-esteem has taken a hit.
I hope I am not too intense for anyone….I live in New Jersey and attend Seton Hall University in South Orange, NJ. I am vastly interested in working in the non-profit sector after graduation, especially with those disadvantaged; and despite my major (which I picked for the wrong reasons), I am really interested in communications and public speaking, and creative writing.
