• (1 vote) My father was admitted into the hospital a few weeks ago, for his heart and a bleeding ulser.
  

  I am very sorry for your loss. My thoughts would be that you won’t be able to figure out how you feel,what you,think,what it means or what now this soon afterward. I do think that holding on to that thought of your last conversation is nothing but a good thing, and I am sure that he is very glad that he was able to say that one more time. I agree that you can’t change the past, and dwelling on that will not do you any good, and that getting together with family for support would be helpful. One thing you might try if you feel that there are things you should have said to him, or wanted to say to him, is try writing him a letter. Perhaps you could send it up in a balloon as a symbol of sending your thoughts to him or keep it and read it or add to it as you like.

  Glad to see you are being smart about it. It is very scary, but I can say that I met the love of my life on the internet 9 years ago and now we have 3 kids. So it can happen too. I will say though that the only reason I got her phone number was that she talked to someone in chat that I knew from outside of there, and she told her I wasn’t a stalker or worse. If you are careful and take precautions it can work I actually know of three couples besides us who have met that way. It is scary but doable. Good luck and stay smart. If they feel wrong don’t go for it listen hard to your gut as well.

  You might try a mountaineers club if there is one near you they have events for groups. Or could look in your area for hiking groups.
