  Sure Socialism works. I works in New Zealand, it works just fine for
  them. Who really wants to settle just for political democracy? What’s
  wrong with having economic democracy too? I mean look at America, Capitalism
  here goes and falls on it’s face, then the government wants to bail out
  Wall street so they can save capitalism from it’s self, then some of the
  ignorant populace call that “Socialism”. So absurd. Now that’s State run
  Capitalism. So now just what’s wrong with having economic democracy too?
  So last week while us Americans were in our voting booths casting our
  vote for the leader of our country, did even one of us even think for a
  moment “**** I’d sure like to have had a say on the bailout”?

• (1 vote) I’m 22, live with my parents, and have no more friends.
  

  I’m not sure what to tell you. Meeting people is easy for me I talk to almost
  everyone I meet. Clicking with people… sometimes it happens sometimes it don’t.
  Keeping friends can be tough sometimes. Though I’m an extrovert I have severe
  introvert spells which can last quite long. My true friends are the ones who will
  still talk to me after my spells. I’ve found that true friends are the one who
  accept your BS. Aquiantences will just tolerate it, but for how long?
  Bars are not particularly good places to meet new people on your own.
  Instead try:
  Public transportation, coffeehouses and bookstores are good places to meet people.
  I have also made a couple friends by going out on a limb and helping someone who
  I didn’t know, sometimes I’ve gotten burnt doing that but sometimes I was rewarded
  with a new friend.
  Yes moving to the city will help greatly.
  
  I can’t imagine having one of my ex girlfriends as my only friend… I avoid all
  my ex’s like the plague, lol.

  I think both anger and sorrow are essential to our enjoying and appreciating happiness. I relish having most of these emotions that make up our human experience,
  even some of the negative ones. That is what makes me feel alive the most.

  Never underestimate a good personality. The way you behave, speak and carry
  yourself will make a much longer lasting impression than the way you look.
  There are many so called “good looking” people who lack charm and charisma.
  They’re looks only get them so far.

  Yeah writing is an excellent way to deal, at least for me it is.
  Poetry is usually the way I go, I can use lots of metaphors and symbolism
  and no one will really see just how F**ked up I am.

  Your right they’re not completely socialist, the point I was trying to make
  is that they have good social programs and is a example of a Socialist direction.
