  I havent got heaps of time to write at the mo as im real busy with Business etc. I would really advise going to Steve Pavlinas site. He has free downloadable Audios that in my view are priceless. He is a really nice guy that cares, i think that is the case with all when you take personal development seriously….Let me know what you think and how you get on. Thanks

• Do you believe that counselling changes the way that a person lives or thinks?
  

  I dont think its about tricking peoples minds. I believe in teaching emotional intellegence. If councelling is carried out in a correct manner it would be done in a way that explains to the patient that there are ways to think to transend fear. CBT and other therapy would help the patient become more open minded and therefore beable to deal with day to day life better. Personal development is a huge subject, councelling is only one aspect of this. Unfortunately there is no quick fix and even after visits to a councellor the patient is required to continue with personal development to ensure they dont slip into their old ways of thinking. Some speakers talk of removing weeds from the mind and replacing them with flowers, as we know weeds grow freely and flowers need nurturing.

  Wow, huge subject to talk about, I think i spoke here briefly on this before. I personally feel that the education system, partcularly in the Uk is outdated. Its a fact that the industrial age was 500 years old when it finally came to an end at the turn of this millenium and transpired into the information age. I feel that this is really a new paradigm in a way and needs to be treated with alot of care and for education to be cahnged and remodled to keep up with all the changes. Its a bit like this in all aspects of life today, especially business, where years ago companys would look at there strategies and business plans on a monthly or yearly basis and no look at them on a weekly or daily basis. Things and concepts are changing at such a rapid pace, its really a matter of educting people emotionally, giving them an opportunity to understand what they want from life and how they can deal with their external world constantly changing. Im not into education and cant really comment on how this change would be structured or facilitated, but i do feel that not only does it need to move on but the youngsters need to be in a position where school is the best part of their day instead of looking forward to getting home and watching the TV or playing video games. Im sure if the Governments of the western world can use marketing techniques to sustain a multi Billion ecomomy they can also use these methods to condition our younger folk to enjoy the other 90% of their waking hours.
