  i guess im hesitant to call because im afraid she’ll do the same thing and not call me for 3 days again. that was really stressful… it sounds stupid but it kinda hurt a lot to do all that waiting.

  also, im having a birthday party this friday night… so i sent her an invitation. she responded with a “maybe.” i went to her birthday party last month and even gave her a gift, so i’d feel really bad if she didnt come out to celebrate mine.
  
  i guess if she doesn’t come or say anything, that’s gotta be the absolute end of it. and i’m really afraid that that’s going to happen. im thinking of ending the silence and calling or texting her to see if she’s planning to come.

  no the last time i saw her i gave her a birthday gift (a small one) and helped her build furniture for her apartment. then we had dinner together and hung out the rest of the night. after that is when she blew me off, and i havent heard from her since.

  Now is the time to do it, because everyone is looking to meet new people. If you don’t try to meet people now, it will be 10x harder a few weeks from now. It is perfectly acceptable this early in the school year to just ask to join a group of people at a meal… they’ll probably be happy you asked!
