Its automatically backing up system files and folders for recovery. Try cleaning it up by using ccleaner, the program is free and user freindly. Run the registry cleaner and when asked to backup select no. That shlould take out all of the duplicate files and keep your system running fast.

My question is:
I’ve had a non-internet computer since the day it was bought. Over the past couple of years the D-Drive (Recovery Partition) has been slowly filling up. Why??? I thought it was “sanctioned” from deletion or saving purposes.
Anyway, I really need to lessen the amount of storage in the D-Drive but it dosen’t let me in. What am I to do?
I only have a small handful of programs that I use, and I would like to think they are not responsible for what has happened.
Help?

Computer Help.

A friend of mine has a 1.5 TB external hard drive. He’s had it for about a year or more. Much of what it held was music and movies and those were linked with iTunes.
Weeeeelll. . .
Went to play music in iTunes and the exclamation came up as if the link had been broken and all song links were broken. Same with the movies and video. Even still, no problem.
The problem is, his external drive shows over 450 gigs of memory used - as it should be because there are a lot of audio and video files. But, when we went to search for those music and movie files - they’re not visible.
Okay.
It has been a while since we explored the external HD. I figured that the folder was a ‘hidden folder.’
After going through the options to ‘reveal hidden folders,’ we still cannot find this mountian of music and movies in the external - yet properties of the external HD show 450 GB used.
Why can’t we find it?

I download a game via torrent..and when i try to open it its open via winrar. rar. and then it pop up to burn it on a cd or dvd. but when i enter the cd or dvd it dont burn why?

Yes that’s the one i was refering to, it hadn’t been working for me the last few times i’d tried the link i had for it.

So it’s going to be a very long process then, what a shame, but i guess on a plus side, it will give a lot of people a lot of work to do & if the employment is as bad there as it is everywhere else, that has to be a good thing.

Theres no stupid questions. He was renting his apartment and that covers his possessions the building owner has to carry flood insurance to fix the apartment. We got all of his stuff out and moved it to my house which now is full with three extra vehicles in the yard. It is brining us closer but when you force people together there will always be conflicts to resolve.

Im not sure how things work over there so forgive me if its a stupid question, does renters insurance cover him for his home contents being ruined by the flood water?
Can he claim to refurnish his home?
It must be strange having your house full again, especially with a baby, but im betting its bringing you all closer together.
