Hi Chameleon,

Just wanted to shout you and let you know that whenever I get on help, I think about you; you were the first person that I “met.” I hope to see you around :)

Hey Chameleon,

Where are you? I’ve been missing seeing you and your GREAT advice on help. Is everything OK?

I think you have to be signed into help.com for your little light to turn green.
I stay logged in all day but I’m afk often. lol
But the little green/red lights don’t work for me most of the time. Often I see a red light by my own name when I’m on. lol and I see it on other’s that are online too.
This site is very glitchy ;)

I would not think that a wound from losing a child would EVER heal. I’m sure that if I lost one, I would go to my grave still grieving.

I really don’t have anything else to say because I don’t have the words//the words seem so “weak,” somehow.

Talk to you soon.

P.S. I am always “online,” but I am not always signed into help.com. Does my little green light stay on perpetually? Or do I have to be signed into help.com for my green light to come on?

Thanks Jelly.
It happened nearly 19 years ago.
You’d think that would mean it wouldn’t bring up tears anymore, but it still does. The wound left from losing a child never heals, it seems.
It sure doesn’t feel like it was 19 years ago.
And a part of my mind definitely went insane from it, just like you mentioned you’d imagine it would.
Even this long after it happening, hearing such nice words like the ones you sent feels good to my heart :)
Thank you.

Hi Chameleon, I don’t know how I got into this area, but I noticed that you have lost a child. I cannot even imagine how hard that would be. I was talking to my friend about it yesterday…we both concurred that we would be in the “nut house” if we lost a child. I don’t mean that loosely…I know you have some mental issues listed on your mini profile…I mean it in all seriousness…I’m sure that if I lost a child, I would have all the dx’s too. I have some anyway, and I haven’t lost a child. How long ago did this happen to you? I am so sorry [HUGS]

Macro photography is life size or larger images. Like zoomed in really close photos ;)
I wish I had lenses that would let me get even more zoomed in, but for now what I have will do :D

Threads are called Posts here. I dunno why :/
But they peter out. You can start a new post if you want to talk about a problem, or you can go into other posts and give your advice, or you can go into the chat room (look at the top of the window for the chat link). I don’t really like this site’s chat room myself, but others use it so you might find people in there.

I looked at your photography and it is really good; I only use the throw away cameras and I am not an expert, at all!!

So did the one “thread” or whatever that we were on earlier just stop going? Do I need to go to another chat area to talk with others, too?

Yep that worked.

Ok you made a common mistake, you shouted yourself that last time. lol \
We ALL do it! No matter how long we’ve been here. I don’t even understand why they have the shoutbox to ourselves when we click on our shouts!
Anyway, when someone shouts you, click on SHOUT TRAIL next to their name in the shout, THAT will get you to THEIR shout box.
It’s a goofy system :P

My pleasure!
You can also add people to your Friend List. When you do that you can invite them to posts you think they might be helpful on, or that you want them to read. To add a friend, click on the little man with the BLUE shirt on next to their name. I’ll add you that way and if you want to reciprocate we’ll be on each other’s friend list :)
