  I’d say yes.
  But the kind of True Love I know isn’t the dreamy romantic kind you’re probably thinking of.
  It’s the longlasting, going down life’s long journey hand-in-hand kind. The growing old together kind. The good times and bad times kind.

  I think if we had a forum section for chit chat and frivolous crap that wasn’t the FRONT PAGE that would be spiffy :) That way everyone could share all about their bunnies and new hairdos and ex or new bf/gf and the front page would be reserved for immediate S.O.S. help.

  Anthrax, I just found out of your existence, and I already have an old lady crush on you.
  Me: 44, married (nothing serious though), 3 kids (I can send them to live with their aunt if you don’t like kids), loves long walks on the beach (ok that’s not true, but I’d get off my lazy a$$ and start walking for you)(ok that’s not true either, but I’d be willing to turn my head in your direction).

  It’s tough to be the one to have to play ref, I always hated that part of being a mom.
  We users are like a bunch of sugar-fed monkeys at times, and I know it’s no fun to be in your position.

  Mental hugs for the mental case. Very fitting :P Seriously, Thank you. I haven’t done much since this whole mess started. Just being at home, doing a few things around the house. Today, I managed to go and get a few groceries. I wasn’t really up to it, so I was glad that my husband came with me. He opened up more last night. I was glad for that. I told him something that the doctor had said, bc I went throught he WHOLE thing with him. I told him everything. I started to tell him, then clammed up bc I was crying. (I tend to do that.) Anyway, he insisted that I work through it and tell him the whole story, so I did. I told him that at the end, as I was leaving, the ER doctor looked at me and said “It’s alright, you can try again next month, or the month after if you want.” (I cried really hard after I left his sight, bc I knew my h’s answer!) Anyway my husband listened and said something along the lines of “If our baby grew big enough to have a soul, and God is keeping that soul, maybe he could send it back in our next baby.” *cries* Sounds like he is open to the possibility now. I can only hope.[/quote]

  I’m so glad you filled him in on everything he missed. It’s important that you both know each other’s trials and tribulations so you don’t feel like you’re going through life alone.

  This is why loaning money to family (and going into business with them) is a BAD idea.
  Giving money to family, with no expectations of ever getting it back, saves sanity, relationships and is well worth the $90 or whatever you gave them.
  She, wanting you to order the tickets since her computer was on the fritz, should have run her little rear over to your house and handed you the money BEFORE you ordered the tickets so there’d be no awkward “When do I get my money back?” moments.
  
  It sounds like you and your sis don’t get along and this was just another reason why. Am I right?
  Getting along with your siblings is great if you like each other. But sometimes our lives are better if we avoid hurtful siblings altogether.

  That’s exactly it. No more babies for me. To him, it’s just a mass of cells, or so it seems. It wasn’t a baby and earlier, when he was trying to make me feel better, he said that it probably didn’t even have a heart beat yet. He’s right, but he doesn’t know how this is affecting me. He seems kind of unemotional. (which is why we started talking earlier. I asked him why.) He says that it would have been different if I had been half way through. (That didn’t help, by the way. I’m not upset that he said it, or that he felt it, but it’s doesn’t make my physical pain or emotional pain any less.)
  
  No time to pamper. Time to make food. I’ll probably take a bath later. I don’t know how long it’ll take to heal from this. (physically, I mean.) maybe eating my left over chicken dinner and home made soup tomorrow will help fix me up. They are low stress meals to make, since the chicken is already done. I’m jsut trying to occupy my time and mind. I’m so upset. I was up from 1am to 5 am the night before last and last night I was up until 3 am. I am exhausted, but can’t sleep. I just toss and turn. Hopefully tonight will be better. Thank you.[/quote]
  
  Your hubby doesn’t know what it’s like to carry a baby in him.
  If he’s anything like my hubby he’s shut down emotionally about it so that he can be strong for you. That’s what men think they should do. They don’t realize that we really want them to have a private moment with us where we fall apart together and love each other through it. That’s what we need.
  
  Sweety, can’t your mom or a sister or aunt or friend or grandma come and stay with you during the day? Help you out with the kids so you can rest or goof off if you want distraction? Someone to emotionally go through this with you. Someone to keep your house up and cook for your family?
  
  And have you considered seeing your gp doc just to get something to help you sleep for a few nights? Maybe a little sedative to help you get through these early tough days? There’s no shame in getting a little medicinal help for a few days to get over the hump.
