Sorry, some grammar problems!
There’s grammar, and then there’s style. I was using the latter. Please do not edit my posts.
And for one who feels the need to correct me, you sure can’t seem to understand phonics. I mean, really, “loveeeee”? They reads as “lovey”, with a long E, though I’m sure your intention was to elongate the O sound. Thus, it should be written “loooove.” And for the love of God, just write “you.” It’s another two bloody letters. Stop being so bloody lazy. (See what I did there? I used style again. Though I’m sure you’ll never understand.)
Finally, your own username is grammatically unsound. You need an apostrophe in “It’s,” as it is a contraction of “it is.” “Its”, without the contraction, is the possessive form of “It.”
Next time you want to try and correct someone, don’t correct a graduate student who is taking up a Master’s Degree in writing.
Augh, THIS is what I’m talking about! Giving me an attempt at a grammar lesson followed by a poorly written response to the original topic ending with a sad face IS NOT HELPING. It’s just someone else being another bloody troll.

Thanks, though I doubt I’ll get much more help now. Ah well, one can always hope, right?
Oh, and OP, asking for serious sex-based advice and expecting quality responses is an awfully silly thing to do in my book. In the end, it’s only something you can decide. Obviously you should discuss your anxiety with your girlfriend, and realize if she brought it up in the first place (seeing how it is her best friend, she very likely did. If not, weird.) it’ll likely come up again if you don’t have a serious discussion about it. If you’re really serious about the relationship, it’s understandable to be jealous. If not, just go for it, I guess.
Thanks for a proper reply. And of course I shouldn’t expect some really excellent, eye-opening advice on here, but I really could have done without the troll.
Everyone experiences sex at some point in their lives, and why it’s not a bigger topic of discussion in this site is beyond me.

Original Poster.
And it seems the only thing I can do is just leave.
My girlfriend came here almost a month ago seeking serious help, and only got TWO replies to her thread. It was embarrassing, especially after encouraging her so much to post on here. I told her how much this site really helped me out, then she gets on here and doesn’t get any good responses, and she could really use the help right now.
I’m just going to have to branch out and move to a more controlled site where the mods do their jobs and I’m not bombarded by ads.
2009-08-02 17:45:45 on Fffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu
Sigh, forget it. I don’t need the trolling or the lack of replies. Help.com is dead, and so is this thread.
I know what you mean.. Even though I haven’t been here nearly as long as some of the other users, I came here when it hadn’t gone this far downhill. People were looking for real answers to real questions — not doing trolling around. It almost infuriates me to see some of the posts here. I still recieve quality help, but it is not nearly as good as a year ago.
But that is of the past, right anon? We’ve got to accept these “changes” and move on.. There is not enough time to dwell on the nonsense of trolls and whatnot.
True, but when I can’t even get a troll off my thread who posts words that take it off the front page, and get nothing but disparaging remarks and those annoying “lol-posts” as I like to call them (”omg hunny ur fine dont worry lol”), it starts to get really irritating.
(OP here by the way.)

Okay, for the record, her best friend’s female. It will be an FFM situation. I’ll update the initial post accordingly.
2009-08-02 16:08:33 on Is playing my acoustic guitar a good idea on a first date?
This on the first date may make you come off as being too pushy and too romantic too soon. Loosen up, play some tunes in the car, or bring an mp3 player and share your earbuds. Save that sorta thing for when you’re really getting close. As for now, simply mentioning you play will get her interested, and at this stage, you want to keep that interest level high. Giving away the mystery of who you are too soon might ruin your chances.
J.D.L, I had exactly the same thing happen to me the other day.
I wanted to wear a skirt into town but I was scared about what people would think of me, once I left the house I went back in again to check myself in the mirror one last time. I knew it was ridiculous but I couldn’t help it.
Even if I do manage to get out of the house, I’m always checking my reflection in whatever I can find, whether it’s the side of someone’s car, a window, a length of reflective metal, anything. It’s hard.
