No not at all, its your opinion. We have different opinions, but thats ok. We have very similar opions though. I’m not a fan of people who raise animals simply for skin. I’m also completely against hunting, unless it is your ONLY source of food. But honestly, when it comes to cows, I feel anything goes as long as its humane. I mean, one of my most prized possesions is my italian leather jacket, but I went to a shop in florence that advertizes that they use houses that raise the cows for meat and skin, so nothing is wasted.

There are many animals that are killed just to make leather things. Kangaroo leather is made to make bullwhips and motorcycle leathers. Sting ray leather is used to make wallets and belts. I am against killing any animal just for their fur or skin. Like hunting an animal just so you can have them hang on your wall, I just hate that! Now, hunters that actually hunt to eat is ok with me. Is that bad?

damn, I thought I finally found someone with a double standard like me. I have a problem with people hunting for fur. But the fact that cows are completely domesticated to the point that they would die off completely if we didn’t raise them for food, then I see no problem with using there skin if people are going to eat them anyway.

I don’t like anything leather, and am careful not to buy leather products. But, I eat meat. I wish I could be a vegan!

hey, just out of curiosity, I know you hate fur coats, as do I, but what about leather jackets?
