I see.

I introduce and refer to her as “miss girlfriend” if I don’t want to specify her name, or “miss Torii” if I don’t mind.
Personally I use some of her nicknames (Torii, Princess, Angel Eyes), with only one having ‘my’, that is “my love”.

I would rather not have gotten depressed. I’d prefer living my whole life in bliss knowing some get depressed, but that’s just not your call sometimes, you know?

How does that slump show in you, if you don’t mind me asking?

She’s not “my lady”. She’s herself, an independent person. Ah, shouldn’t have corrected you as there’s no other way for you to refer to her.

Yeah, I’m with her as long as it’s possible. She did want to be alone in the beginning… said she had to settle some of her emotions. I’m not sure what that meant to this day.

Frustrated? What kind of slump would that be? How would it show on the surface?

I can get emotionless when that’s what I need be.

But maybe it just takes an emotionless person to do that.

I dunno. I managed to cancel out my grandfather’s death without having any spare happiness on the day he died, by the time his funreal came I was indifferent.
That’s without experiencing death in the family before.

She’s got more experience.

So sadness can’t be canceled out by happiness?
But that would mean there’s no way for me to cheer her up other than wait.

No, it just recently happened. I think the surgery’s due in a few days, that’s why she came to visit her. But the lung cancer was terminal in the first place.

I wonder what she feels about it. If she’s sad, it doesn’t show.

It’s not that good, she’s going to visit her because her lung [I think] cancer has spread to her brain…

My family and I have been invited on a trip this Saturday, I wish I could take her there…

And of course, no university till Sunday.

Good news is that her entire family has approved of me, including her grandmother. She’s taking some of my pictures and letters to her.

Melancholic. Miss girlfriend had to go visit her grandmother earlier today. I can only confide in the fact she’ll be here tomorrow. And I’ll have a good letter ready by that time.

Wow, I guess you’re right. It’s not just a memory storing notebook to her, that’s her life… and yet she said I’m a large part of it. Hmm… I never thought I’d be important to anyone else.

Nothing’s apparant in the cyber-network, miss kitt e. True, statistically it was more likely you’d turn out to be female on this site, but one has to consider the theory there are no females in cyberspace.

Still don’t understand the 7th grade part, is there a point to ask, or perhaps I need to develop a *real* past in the 7th grade to understand.

What’s the point of her coming here if I only get ~4 hours with her every day? Might as well wait a bit until she’s completely free. Oh, and I think it’d be a waste of her parents’ money if she used it on me.

Everybody would like to think they’re funny and smart and witty, so feel free to live that illusion, I know I do. ^_^

By the way, she opened up to me a bit more, she shared some of her secrets and said I could read her journal when she got here… although I’d probably be shocked at certain points, according to her.

I told you before we’re at a long-distance relationship, so I have no clue why the “lol @ that question”.

I only know that I asked her not to come before I receieve my degree, in 7 months. A long time in which I will go through hell and back.

No. She doesn’t mention it unless I force it out of her, the same with her past and present. She just wants to think of how happy she is with me, like I said.

Partly both. Yes, it started out with me wanting to protect her, and I still do want to. But it turned out there’s nobody in this world who could fulfill me more, so I do want to stay, as long as the status quo is kept. Emotionally, that is.

She told me today that if I hadn’t come, she had plans to try and end her life again… only this time there might not have been anybody to save her as she’d be on her own, at 17.

There’s only one thing I can do, and that is stick with her to the end. Or at least until she can stand up for herself. After that it’s a matter of whether the relationship stays enjoyable.

Oh, no, that’s not the reason…
She’s been through rape, and both parents’ death, and grandmother’s lung cancer, and being left in the state’s care, and other stuff as well. She used to cut, attempted suicide by overdose 6 times. She just wants to think about me in her present and never look back, so that her future has a chance of being bright.
Poor girl doesn’t know I’m as unreliable as a broken bamboo cane. :(
I just want to protect her, even if it means letting her sleep on this bed of nails, in hope that gravity won’t do its trick.

How can I be a better boyfriend to her, kitt e?

Well, yea, a lot… I try to get her to open to me, but with all the things she went through in the past… I’m pretty much left with only rather shallow details.

That sucks. My bf would always get like that when he was away with work and it would drive me crazy, so I can’t imagine how it must be when you have to spend that much time apart, I would be unhappy too. Are you any closer to being able to move to be with him, I bet it is sooooo frustrating. Things are good with me, my bf never found a new job so now we are going to Australia for a year and ho pefully when we get back there will be a bit more work here for him, today is my last day at work and I cannot wait to finish

How’s things with you? Not spoken to you for aaages, my bf still has not managed to find a job so we have made the massive decision to move to Australia for a year and see if we have any luck there, if we don’t we will just travel for a year or so before comnig home to hopefully a healthier economy. Are you any closer to moving near your bf?
