You are allowed to date legally even if you are married in papers but do not live together, or in court terms, separated at least 3 months ago and going through a divorce process. It doesn’t count cheating.

This is the wisest statement I heard from you sum and it really “sum”s it up what you need to focus on and the most important thing: even when you feel hopeless YOU have CHOICES. Choices of giving up or moving on. IT IS TOTALLY UP TO YOU what you choose. People can tell you many things but at the end the decision is yours. I think michele said it here. Exactly sum, why do you love her not worthy of loving? I know this is not what you meant. But when you run after a car that doesn’t want to stop to get you, why do you waste your time? Also, I agree wholeheartedly with michele. You might not realize it but to me it looks like you make her guilty and walking on eggshells when she has to deal with you and you are too drammatic and clingy. sum you have self-worth and dignity. Learn to respect and love yourself first and then you will be able to love someone else the right way. Not the clingy making someone guilty if…way. You are worth it!

I still would like to know why the mother had to discipline the kid when the kid was misbehaving not with the mother but with the father. I’d like to know how the father reacted to this misbehaviour and exactly what did the kid do.

Other than what everyone else wrote here I noticed something. You said you beat your child because he was misbehaving with his father. How did his father react to that misbehaving? How come he wasn’t disciplining your son? I feel there is no communication between the two of you. Where is his role in all this?

Other than what everyone else suggested, if I could add my two cents it would be: don’t look nervous. You want to look well put together, composed and relaxed. You will do fine. The army needs you so the best approach would be the thought “what can I do, what can I offer for the army”.
