This happens to me as well. Nothing more frustrating than feeling like your regressing back to a point that is dark in your life. I find inspiration in being able to control my emotions, not have them control me. Its hard as h e l l sometimes and I’ll admit that sometimes I even have to force myself by watching something I know will make me laugh. Or thinking for 1 or 2 minutes straight about nothing but a moment in my life that I can’t help but smile when thinking about.
I don’t know all the answers for sure. But I wanted to tell you your not alone.
On a side note, we’re all human beings with two independently thinking sides to our brains. Im my opinion its a miracle we aren’t more divided.
Just in case your interested, here’s an inspirational and informative vid by a great woman about finding which side of the brain you think with and why. Kind of funny to.

You’ve shocked them a bit. Dont treat it like a huge deal anymore or they will to. That’s for sure.
They’ll get over it once they see your not like that on a regular basis. You’ve got to earn their trust back. Try and forget about it. Just don’t forget what got you there so you don’t do it again.
Don’t be surprised or offended if the next time you drink around them they crack a joke at your expense about it. Even if you never do it again, you now get to be the brunt of the ‘crazy drunk person’ stories told at parties.

This is just my opinion brother. If you try and resist what has happened to you by taking legal action or trying to get them back, your only going to attract more negativity to yourself. This has all happened for reason. Maybe its time to get a new job, you may find one thats better or more suited to you than the one you have now. Maybe its because you truly do need to be resting through this. For whatever reason you aren’t supposed to be at that job right now, and it sounds like it’s because you are about to detox yourself from one of the deadliest drugs around.
