  It can all be about perception, how we choose to perceive the world within and outside ourselves. In my opinion, the key word is choose, is the glass half empty or half full. I read something once that was kind of cool, it was about a group of people sitting around a table and someone put a large plate of chocolate chip cookies on the table, how differently people reacted to them was amazing. How would you react ? Now ?
  Can you remember how you would have reacted, when you were a young child.
  
  Try connecting to the child-within, the world can or is a big sandbox or playground, start by pretending to see the world, other people and yourself with the eyes of a child…be creative, do the opposite of “nothing excites me” and just for the hell of it, try not to be so cool about things, be little foolish sometimes, it can be liberating and contagious…

  Why do people who are the closest to us, sometimes break that bond of trust?
  [just my impression] We are more easily able to forgive, our child, our spouse, or our closet of friend, because at some level, I think that they know, there is a possibility that they will be forgiven. Maybe because we may, more clearly understand their motives or because love will always trump what may be a minor infraction from their perspective. When love is taken for granted, our trust is also…

  I believe if you try to be a trust worthy person and others feel that they can have trust in you, than they also deserve your trust. Most people will rise to a standard of trust worthiness around people who are trust worthy… I try hard to live up to that high standard and I expect that same high standard in return and when someone breaks that bond of trust than I am not always surprised but I am always prepared for it….we live in desperate times and no matter how hard we may try to live up to a higher standard of trust worthiness we still are capable of doing desperate things…..

  Hay Tzu… everything is going to be amplified right now and it will never be easy to meet a potential girlfriend, when comparing these experiences to what you had with Brittany…remember to take it a little slower and not be so hard on yourself. Getting involved with another girl can be very rewarding and healthy, and from what I know of you, your not going to have to much of a problem finding potential girlfriends. Enjoy those beginning stages of meeting someone new, getting to know them a little bit at a time, and letting someone start to get to know you [your spirit]… it really is like stating over again.

  After the toughest year of my life with really nothing to look forward to, only things that I needed to accomplishes to make it through those dark and gloomy days … I rewarded myself with a new computer and friends from all over the world came poring into my life, and a few of those friends rewarded me with their loving spirit and their sunshine…You could say my reward was sunshine that now fills my days…
  Oh… if you want a food reward… I sometimes reward myself with Shrimp Szechuan style with Lo mein noodles form best Chinese take-out… =)
