Thank you, Winemaker. Believe it or not, I’ve wondered for a long time about what happens to the remains of the grapes. I thought at first that they might be used for jams; but with no juice, I didn’t think that would work.

I have a question about winemaking: After the juice is squeezed out of the grapes, what is done with the remains?

Thanks, just a little, well, huge, disruption in my life kept me from the site for a bit. Well, it didn’t really keep me, but it distracted me enough to neglect coming here as often as I should. Thanks for the shout, it made me smile. :-)

Into this? No. I believe in One God for All. That leaves out any sectarianism. And I am weary of all fanaticism. It’s brainless and downright dangerous. Do I have to spell out why? … Crusades, withches being burned at the stake, 9/11… It goes on and on.
