2009-04-05 15:05:18 on What do I need to run a program through a GUI or console program?
Alright, I can give that a try. I’ll go see what I can find.

Alright, I’ll be sure to look into that then.
2009-01-23 01:36:44 on I need some help with a word
Well, good to know I’m not the only one who can’t come up with the word. Some were close but didn’t seem to fit it. Looks like I’ll have to use a phrase to handle this one. Thanks all.

Yeah. That would really be helpful.
2009-01-23 00:20:21 on I need some help with a word
Yeah, I know. Hence why I’m at the point of asking people. I’m getting desperate.

Being impressed. Basically after only meeting them for a moment, the first character know that the second is hiding something, even though everyone else missed it. So the second is impressed.

I’m sorry to hear that. Hopefully you will feel better soon.
2008-12-09 22:38:13 on I need help with Christmas toys for my two boys
I would suggest just going to any store and finding a toy that has that age range on it. That’s what I have to do when buying things for my cousins, but at least you know what your kids like.
2008-09-29 10:18:13 on Unix - Please look - is this right?
Thank you. Finally someone gives me an answer.
I’ve never done this before, and I just wanted to make sure I hadn’t missed some stupid . or something. Again, thanks.
2008-09-28 16:37:01 on Unix help - just a clarification
Okay, looked up the echo command, so really all he wants me to put in the script for him is
% echo HELLO WORLD
That’s it. Or, do you think he wants us to put this in the script?
## use echo to produce HELLO WORLD
echo HELLO WORLD

Well, just sent one a message to see what she thinks. I was just hoping someone could read it and say “Nope, you’re doing it wrong” since this is the only computer lab we can do this in and I won’t be in here for much longer. I just wanted to get a problem done so I could be of help since I was sick when they attempted this the first time.
2008-09-26 11:29:34 on Calculus area under a function
Heh, yeah, but I could be completely off with this and I’m just making a mountain out of a mole hill. I could just wait for Monday and ask the people in my group about this, but I don’t know if they know what we are doing and they understand this program about as much as I do.

Well, the thing that I got from the problem is ‘c’ is going to end up being a number like 8 (or something like that) that is multiplied to ‘x’ inside the sinh function such that from 0 to 1 the area under the curve equals 1.
Going off that, that’s why I think I need to do my first assumption. But then, do I set the outcome equal to 1 and see what c becomes? That’s what I think I need to do, but I’m not sure.
No, but normally he wants us to attempt it, show him the code we used, and then ask him. So, that’s what I’m attempting right now.

That’s what I think I have to do, but I want to know is if that is right, and I just have to set whatever I get equal to 1 and solve for c.
OR
Am I just suppose to take the integral of sinh(cx) and then find where it equals 1
between 0 and 1. I’m not even sure if that makes sense, but with this program, I wouldn’t doubt that that’s what they want or something similar to that. Picture of the integral I’m talking about.
