  I’m sorry, but over the past week of following this post, I have lost a lot of respect for you Max :/
  
  You started this post, with no information whatsoever on what you’re trying to get across, leaving people confused about what to say.
  So people starting dishing out “You’d be good at it” and “Good luck” which went on for about 20 replies, when finally we got some sense that you can’t actually do anything with the site.
  So the post continued, and the appraisal also continued, and along the way, there was still no actual “topic” or “what you had planned” and I was very confused as to what you were getting at, as I’m sure a lot of other people were.
  
  So I asked you my questions, the basics, who, what, where, when, and you answered, with completely irrelevant answers to what I had asked, maybe you did misunderstand, or maybe you just didn’t want to answer my questions so decided to slip and slide around them.
  Soooo, I asked you again, and at the same time, attempted to make my question a little understandable, but yet, as I expected, I got a clouded answer.
  Okay, you have passion and skills… uhm.. who here doesn’t?
  Most people here have a passion for helping, and there are a number of them who have the skills, and probably a little more than you I’d say, not insulting you or anything, just telling it how it is.
  
  Let’s see what some other people asked you, and your responses, ohwait, we don’t have too, cause sadly I’d just be repeating myself about the clouding of answers, and not dragging on about irrelevant information. Half your posts are just blockquotes and then 2 sentences after.
  
  And now, just because about 20 people have complemented you and told you they have your back, you now have the right to go and insult me? Just because of my age? When has anyone on this site been allowed to do that? And why should I tell you what plans I had, if you wont even tell us yours?
  I had planned and discussed with a few select people about a new mod team, or additions and removals rather, and some small tweaks to the site, which would’ve probably been possible if I had got my a into g. But right now that doesn’t matter, seeing as I wont be continuing with that plan, now or never.
  
  Alright, so I’m not going to neglect some of the little things you so kindly decided that you would mention to us.
  So you plan to butterfly two sites together eh?
  Sounds uhm, yeah, nah, I have no idea what that means, and I highly doubt that the rest of the community does either. Also, we never heard, what this other site was or anything, and whether or not it had the same “functionality” and I use the term lightly considering the state that Help.com is in at the current time.
  
  If you are for real Max, and do actually want to do something to fix the site, I highly suggest that you reconsider what you are trying to do and then possibly think about working with the mods that are now left, working with Ditz and Candp.
  And when I say work, I mean construct a plan or something to that degree to get some sort of order back on the site.
  
  For everyone else, consider everything and don’t get talked into something you don’t know 100% about. Whether that be now, or in the future for any decisions you have to make.

• (1 vote) How do users come back after they are IP banned?
  

  Well lets see.
  First thing you need to know
  There is 2 kinds of bans that us moderators use.
  *User Ban - this simply bans the account
  *IP Ban - this bans the user’s IP Address, (if you don’t know; this is a number which your network is assigned by your ISP (internet service provider) the Ip contains four numbers spaced with periods such as 101.111.00.1 the IP simply identifies your network, and other various information)
  
  If we “ban” an account, then the account is only banned and not the IP, so a new account can be made on that IP with a new email address, but remember the account is only removed from public view and moderators can still see it.
  If we “ip ban” an account then the whole IP is blocked from accessing the site and then they cannot make another account, however as some of you know there are ways around this :P
  
  Even if you do make a new account on the same IP we can still see that it is linked to the other account using other modtools.
  If eventually you keep coming back and being a nonsence then we can then take further action (in extreme circumstances) by calling your actual Internet Service Provider.
  
  Anywho, this post kinda explains how to by-pass Bans etc, soooo, I think I might have to do something with it.
  Anywho, any more questions or what not, just shout me or something.
  
  Oh and PS: very little long term members get perma bans, usually only 48-72hrs and they’re unbanned.
