Since I am a stranger to you, it is a good idea to not tell too much about yourself already.
I have “opened my email” to you. In my profile, rather high up to the left, there is a link with my email address (you will see my name there, but I would appreciate if you don’t write my name on the site).

That is a good thing to keep in mind. NEVER write your real name here, or other personal information that can be linked to your person in real life! The reason is that search engines like Google can look right into these posts and shoutboxes.
So even if you have nothing to hide, it is not so funny if friends or relatives look into what you write here. Another reason is that there are spam engines, looking for interests. For instance, if I write a lot about cars, and if there is my name or address to link that car interest to, that information will be sold to advertising agencies and I will get a lot of spam in my mailbox.
(That has nothing to do with ‘Help’, but it is all over the internet).

Personal information will not harm if it connects only to a nickname and cannot be linked to a real name or a real email address. Look into people’s posts, and you see how it works.

I tell you this to help you protect your own integrity.

So when it comes to sensitive information, write that in an email, or talk on MSN.
