  Tell your mum and then ask her if it’s a good idea or not to tell dad - when I came out to my mum she instantly said she wont tell my father. I bet your mum would be pleased to hear you tell her actually :)

  I don’t know about video games, but when playing a film the computer is considered to be idle. Go into the control panel, click ‘power options’ and check that the power schemes is set to ‘always on’.

• how do you over come something that you are afraid of?
  

  I was afraid about giving blood a few months ago because I felt so nervous about how I’d react, and what it would feel like while it was happening. Eventually I did give blood and I felt great afterwards and it was all down to encouragement from friends.
  
  I’m also afraid of moths but I don’t run for the door when I see one now hehe :p. For me, what I’ve found is that it’s down to what I think, (my own ideas), of what it is I’m afraid of that’s making me afraid. I used to think moths were disgusting but now I think they’re quite fragile and can’t really do much.
  
  Ah.. driving :p. I was afraid of that too! Are you talking about your first driving lesson or? If I were you, I would gently expose myself to what driving is. Starting off by standing next to the car, and if I’m ready, opening the car door and sitting inside it, etc, etc. Eventually turning the ignition key.
  
  It can be slow but so much quicker if you have someone to encourage you :)
