• Do condoms really really work?
  

  The vaccine for HPV only protects against 4 out of the 100 strains of Human Papilloma Virus, and when using a condom, it will NOT protect you if the living virus is located on the thighs, scrotom, rectum, or other areas surrounding the genitals.
  
  when you say that you are ready, it is human nature calling you via your hormones. That doesn’t mean that you have to “ACT’ on your biological urges. You can learn how to discipline yourself and say no because you are very young. Think about the times to come…college…freedom….and a whole new world out there after graduation when your career will begin, and you have financial independence to see parts of the world, make new friends, find new relationships.
  
  I understand what a childhood means to you. The feelings can be intense. Talk to him and discuss remaining abstinent for now. Tell him that you care enough about him to NOT have sex because it could interfere in your future if you should become pregnant, infected, or addicted to the “act”. What I mean is…you lose your freedom when you become addicted to certain behaviors and at a young age, this may become a very addictive behavior that does not foster feelings of love…but lust.
  
  If he loves you and cares, he may be so grateful to you for setting these boundaries.

  You need to enlist the help of outsiders immediately before you end up interplaying with the physical assaults on you. if you engage in striking them back in self defense the physical abuse, this domestic violence will escalate. Someone is going to be severely injured.
  
  Go to the local church. Go to the Police. Ask for immediate intervention. Go to Adult Protective Services if you have to. There are 12 step programs that you can attend for an hour of peace of mind. Can someone take the 4 children for a weekend where you could attend a peaceful retreat for yourself to re-group and get yourself back together, emotionally? Some retreats only take donations for what you can afford. You need to take a deep breath and re-charge yourself on all levels of wellness.
  
  I would ask for all 4 of my children to be removed from my home by the weekend if they were doing that to me. How can you be an affective Mom and Parent when your chilfren are abusing you? They all need to go to behavioral therapy and more. What they are doing is a crime. How old are they? Send them to an Outward Bound Program for the summer and tell them not to come back home until they straighten out their abusive ways because you will not tolerate it anymore. Put your foot down. Set boundaries. Be in charge. Give them ultimatums. They have been allowed to run wild and you may never be able to regain control of them but YOU CAN CHANGE YOURSELF, HOW YOU INTERPLAY WITH IT. Please do something this week. Do something radical to affect an immediate change before something terrible happens.

  Love do not hurt. Love is surrounded with joy. One way that you can feel happy is if you open your heart and send him good wishes. This way you are experiencing the happiness of all that love in your heart. He will feel this energy being sent to him. The passing of your own love through your open heart will give you great joy. If you see your heart as broken you see it as closed = not able to work properly. It is a way for you to protect yourself by walling it off to this negative, sadness that you have created in your own mind.
  
  Imagine him in your mind. See this wonderful boyfriend in your imagination and see the two of you together. Enjoy that closeness for a good hour. Then resume your daily life. Take good care of yourself. Style your hair, groom your nails, get a comfortable pretty outfit on, and go out and have fun. During the day, take two minutes here and there and send him good wishes. Focus on his face. You will be smiling from ear to ear when you do this. Go on with your life, write to him, send him happy thoughts, good ideas, good conversation.
  
  He will not want to spend time with you if he gets the chance if he sees how unhappy you are over this long distance arrangement.
  
  You are young. Life for NOW (today) for it is all you have right now. Be in the present. It is your gift. Be in the moment. Have fun. You are only young once. If it is meant for the two of you to get married one day, it will happen. Your youth is the best time of your life when you are FREE, unattached to commitment and responsibilities. Do you want to wish it all away being sad? You know that the future is an unknown fantasy.
  
  Be present. It will be the greatest gift you give to yourself and him when he sees you living your life to the fullest being happy.

  I was abused until I was 13 and emotionally abused until I left home at 20. I am now 58 and only just returned to college at 51 to become a teacher. I have taken all my pain, shyness, and lack of self esteem, and now use it as my most inner strengths. When I see shy students, I can intuit that they have secrets. I give them special consideration when I call on students to answer questions. I know which ones are so shy that I would make them uncomfortable so I group my class into teams to work on projects. If a student is shy about standing up and presenting, that student will be picked to do valuable research work or hands on poster work. I make sure I validate my shy students. I understand them. I was once like that because of the abuse. I felt I was not worthy or valuable. How can you when the people who are supposed to love you mistreat you. How can you when you are called stupid. I want you to realize that you were born as a beautiful soul. You chose your parents before you were conceived when you were a spirit child. When you were born you were a perfect soul. You were more than loved. You were LOVE. As what happens to all of us, as we grow we are taught by humans who had no instructions in how to parent. Our parents tried the best they could. But we began to wander away from our true selves as we were being raised. We began to separate from who we really are. A BEING OF LIGHT living in a human body. You have separated from true yourself. Please go into this web site and close your eyes and listen to this meditation. It will help you connect to your soul. You are depressed because you have forgotten who you are..a loving soul…take time to listen to this meditation and let me know if it brought light love and joy.

  Would it help you if you forgave those who abused you? Perhaps they are no longer alive or have no idea how they hurt you. Your memory of it (the past) lives on in your thoughts and it is how you choose to handle those thoughts(on the NOW) that is hurting you. You can be free. It is as simple as holding a pencil and then releasing it to the floor….by letting go. Are you willing to let go of the memories of the past, the pain, the way you choose to hold on to the traumas of your childhood?
