I understand that you view your emotions in a certain way and I’m not going to criticize that, but sometimes you just have to put on a mask and act.
In any situation where your emotions start influencing your decisions more than cold-hard reason, you just gotta step back and realize how insignificant your complaints and worries are in the long run. Play it cool. Recognize that you’re angry and go on along with the situation, still as composed as ever.
It’s not about bottling yourself up. It’s about being up against the wall with only two inches of ledge and staring up at the stars, slowly edging towards that window, realizing that you don’t have much elbow room, but you’ve got something to look forward to.
