• Is it rude to ignore text messages?
  

  I don’t think it’s technically RUDE, but maybe it is impolite.
  It more or less depends on the urgency/importance of the text and the age group.
  I’m pretty sure a teenager doesn’t mind when you don’t reply to their “hey” or “haha”
  But an adult might be offended when you’re talking and you drop off the face of the Earth.
  
  I ignore them all the time though. :D

  I am just baffled when I come to try and think of a way to pull her mother aside privately. I’m a VERY shy kid, and I’m already anxious to see “amy” lately so I wouldn’t want to… Talk to her mom as oppose to her? She is a teenager, as am I, and I know how the hormones react in girls her age.
  
  I was thinking of sending a simple text saying something like, “Hi, this is Cory… ‘Amys’ boyfriend, she’s been talking about getting her hair done lately and I was wondering if I could pay for it as a gift for her birthday?” something short and to the point.
  
  I’m over at her house quite often, so it’s nothing a first-time-hearing-from-the-boyfriend type thing, and I’ve already showed them I have manners. (Not saying that I don’t have to prove them anymore) but I don’t want to go too over the top and say “Hello ma’am, I am the gentleman dating your daughter and I would quite fancy it if I could buy her a shally-wag hair-do.” (haha, sorry, that was my inner-victorian. :]

  Anon. take a breather. Go on a trip for yourself, alone. Do something to get it all off your mind. Self-harm isn’t a GOOD answer. It’s only a release.
  
  Don’t fool yourself with the ‘love’ gimmick either. Yeah, you may love his company and being against his chest at night, but how do you feel when he hurts you? It’s not going to heal because you let out your feelings online. Talk to him about what causes his lashes, and either work together on fixing him or leave him.
  
  Job: Thats terrible. No one wants to be in a bad job. With a bad boss or coworkers. Don’t let that tear you down either. If it’s the type of job that pays well then stick to it longer, until you get a new boss, or stick to it till you find something else you can survive on. But try not to live under that tyrant’s reign.
  
  Then in your family, we all have disfunctions, ESPECIALLY in the family aspect of our lives. So your friends and peers should never call you perfect, becasue there’s always a flaw somewhere. I agree with an above post with the praying for and holding a family reunion, it’ll make everyone realize what you’re going through. Take a trip from them as well, show them what it’s like without you.
