Oops, I the third and fourth step are the same, I just forgot to put the power signs in it…
Should be:
x^4 + -5x^3 + 3x^2 + 9x
9x + 3x^2 + -5x^3 + x^4
x(9 + 3x + -5x^2 + x^3)

Simplify
x4 + -5×3 + 3×2 + 9x

Reorder the terms:
9x + 3×2 + -5×3 + x4

Factor out the GCF, or x.
x(9 + 3x + -5×2 + x3)

Final result:
x(9 + 3x + -5x^2 + x^3)
