hi tech, sorry but betng busy with my koi fish ,lost about 30 fish ,by being nice to people told some one to bring his sick fish to my quarantene tank and one accidently jumped in to my main pool so far 30 are gone try to save as many as i can,by using copper solfate and salt ,sorry about being late in answering,i tried to fix the pins ,the burner pin was in the middle and the cd was on the right side,then i changed it and now they changed i can play cds in e and d rive says nothing dont worry tech by the way my name is richard why did you say youre days are numbert? thanks for trying to help,see what im getting by trying to help someone ill check out yore site…

hi tech we live in different timezone ,when i go to bed most probably you just get up,yes imon xp.home edition,on my computer,when i open it there is a floppy,a dvd-rw drive :e
dvd/cd-rw:d i can only ply cds on my dvd/cd-rw
drive d when i open up properties on d and populate type dvd no media,but as soon i put in a cd it works now the other e drive when i open it on properties and populate it tells me
cd rom 1 type dvd on properties it tells me windows is only playing music cds i can automaticly open and close the e drive so its working butit doesnt recognise ,i could ring a technican but some how i like to do it myself with a little bit of help thanks by the way i cant (email removed) cant get in touch with you

hi tech since you are good at these things i got 2cd drives one is a burner, i put a cd in d drive it is recognised, i put a cd in e drive nothing happens,regardles if its a cdr or a dvd what do you think its wrong?

Is this person we speak of just narrow minded an keeps open minded topics at bay?? lol Yeah, Natives have a way of calling each other names don’t they…lol any way it is all good I am a gentlemen and a hot head and I am not afraid to admit my faults at all…lolI learn from attacks, put downs, insults…and so on. Thanks..Did not mean to come off offensive at all. My Godfather owned his own shop for 20 years, and was a mechanic, so far, for a total of 35..i was supposed to become his apprentice, and take over his shop, but my interests did not lay in that field.

The screws are actually on the housing of the PCM(sp) thye are 1/2 inch long sheet metal screws…according to the article, they should be 1/4..I did not look to see yet, but i believe the longer screws go thru the board and touch the firewall, and with random vibrations they ground diff parts of the board. I am not altering them until I get back to Ft Myers, as my Godfather wants to see.

I went to my local Mechanic today, just to co a check-up before my trip, and he said he had a similar thing with his 97 Jeep Cherokee..his solution was to put a piece of rubber between the firewall and the PCM..siad this worked until the rubber wore down..I will try to find the website..it was a Forum on Jeep problems, ha ha..sad, you get a LOT of results when you type in Jeep electrical problems in google.

I will let you know what we find when we get into the Jeep, in a few days..funny aside, for some reason the short causes the code for a bad ASD relay to come up, as well as sometimes a bad coil. even if they are brand new.

Yeah there are a whole load of different options in UK.
There are allot of different colleges all catered for different needs. You can even go to college through your work, they will send you on certian days of the week to get trained up and get all different levels of qualifications so you can still earn money as well as learning and gaining skills :)

Thanks back! You are right on. When I googled his address the first thing that came up was about scams. I copied a letter I received back from an org. willing to investigate him. Turns out he is real and now he has a connection to a much larger organization with a base here in Nashville, TN.
I am printing what you just said so I have a list. The projector we had would have been perfect. I am hoping to watch the state surplus auctions again to see if I can find another one like it. I have a very basic DVD player that can be connected to a computer or monitor and I am sure it can go to a projector. Wondering how I got myself into this… :)
