Thank you for the response. I have got a copy of the one where they forged my signature. I did talk to the apartment manager about it but she was so rude about it. I guess she was covering her back and totally disagreeing to that any forgery took place. I told her this was illegal document which was not signed by me and thus she could get into trouble for this and she rudely informed me that no law was going to take my side on this. I was ofcourse shocked cos the signature does not look noting like mine and also I did not take year and half lease only took six month lease. She (the apartment manager) did correct my lease to six month contract. However, I am extremely upset that a national apartment complex like this one I am living at would do such thing as forge signature of their tenant without the tenant consent. And how rude their behavior was when I pointed out the contact was forged.
I did call the police, as you say the emergency line, but they didnt or couldn’t be of much help. Called a few lawyers but they also didn’t seem of much help. I find myself in a very awkward situation as no one seem to be able to deal with something of this nature? I never dealt with anything like this.
