• how do you recover the sound system for your computer.
  

  Your computer should have a CD that comes with it (if you didn’t buy brand, then it’s most likely the motherboard CD). Most likely you will be able to reinstall all the things you need to get the sound coming out again from that CD. Try to find the ‘Audio Driver’ or something like that.
  
  As a very last alternative, download the driver from here:

  (After you click OK, download the first if you’re using Vista, or second if you’re on Windows XP/2000/Me/98)
  
  If you still can’t fix it, send it to your local computer shop.

  Forgery is a criminal offense, and at a scale this grand, it is most likely considered a felony. (Don’t take my word though, I’m not a lawyer, and I think it also depends on where you live.)
  
  This lady may be able to help you. http://www.theforgerydetective.com but I think you have to be able to obtain your document somehow. Can you contact the apartment owner, perhaps? If all else fails, you should contact the police (not on 911 - try finding their non-emergency line, usually a local number).
