  maybe even sitting down
  
  and just telling him, you know, “look - i want to hear EVERYTHING that you have to say to me, because i respect you. and i want you to listen to what i have to say in return. afterwords, we can either work this out - or go on our seperate ways without looking back. but at least we’ll know that we heard eachother’s full side of what’s going on.”

  no - i think everyone on here has some really good advice
  
  and with my advice, as with anyone’s — the best thing for you to do is listen to what people have to say, and then let it sort of simmer in your own mind
  
  you can filter out the things you don’t agree with, and take some of the things you do relate to - and apply them to the situation in your own life.

  oh wow - i just read what brought all of this upon you
  
  
  and see - i was involved with a guy for a little while… and then found out about his 2 1/2 year relationship that he was in with this other girl
  
  so i broke it off with him
  but was still really into him, and everything he said or did in regards to me
  
  
  it was a sticky situation
  
  and this one seems to be getting pretty thick around you
  
  
  but, i really don’t think it’s your fault.
  
  honestly, everyone needs a change of scenery — maybe you’ll be like me
  
  i went from florida to chicago
  pretty intense hah
  
  
  but seriously, this city is so amazing - i don’t have the time to focus any of my attention on the bs back home
  
  and i think you will find the same kind of thing working out for you

  ok so i’m a girl in every sense of the word.
  
  i’m 5′5, average
  insanely curly hair — that i tend to straighten when the weather permits.
  
  i have 2 tattoos that i absolutely LOVE - one is a nice size piece in between my shoulders, and the other covers the outside of my right calve. 2 lip rings to the left side (my left) of my bottom lip. (see avatar)
  
  my dad’s a musician… and i really into music as well
  bands: a LOT of indie. oh my. i enjoy the sounds of Built To Spill, Cassino, Pinback, Incubus, DEATH CAB FOR CUTIE 3, Arctic Monkeys, Bob Marley, Lovedrug, Jimi Hendrix Experience, Silversun Pickups, The Shins, Modest Mouse, Rogue Wave, The Doors, John Butler Trio — the list is endless
  
  and i love photography and writing.
  mal, you already know how much i write up on the roof of our apartment — so i guess that would be what i mainly do with my spare time.

  but you can come to chicago!!

  i actually went through something similar
  and honestly, this place is my home, in all senses of the word
  
  granted, i miss my family — but they’re a plane ride away
  
  at the end of the day
  you need to do some things for yourself
  
  
  and to really be happy, i find that i need to love my location
  
  it sounds like you need an update - and maybe all of the garbage you are going through is just the push you need to do it
  
  
  and while i’ve definitely had my days when i drove off as far as i could get…
  i don’t really recommend it
  
  you will be a lot happier if you plan it out
