• lately, i have been feeling this empty feeling.
  

  Hormones or lack there of due to being chemically imbalanced is a scientific solution for and mental and emotional problem. All problems can be solved, all it takes is the right solution. In order to get the solution you have to work through the problem.
  
  Its always best to consult your physician to discuss your options but keep in mind if this is a depression issue… are you going to subdue the beast that’s growing daily with medication until the day you forget to take it or will you face your inner self and grow mentally and emotionally by working out what’s going on with in you? Shrinks make alot of money by listening to people solve their own problems their just paying someone to listen. You need to listen to yourself.
  
  Take the time out to ask yourself what you wants are, where you want to go in life, who do you want to be. Use the answers you recieve (and you’ll get your answers) to define who you are. Are you just going with the flow of what’s around you, living in the daily routine of everyone else… take the time and get to know who you are and define who you are on your terms, in your way.
  
  Most people are not able to do this and surprisingly many live with these feeling their entire lives. Change is needed in your life the feeling your have is your sixth sense letting you know your attention and action is needed.

  You need to sit your parents down and tell them. You need to let them know you’re scared. Everyone’s right - this isn’t going to go away. You’re too young to have a child being practically a child yourself. This would have been acceptable in centuaries ago when young girls were married off at your age to older men nearly twice their age, but in today’s society there’s no excuse for it. If you want to have sex you need to be responsible and practice safe sex. stores don’t check ID when buying condems for this reason. You need to value yourself and respect yourself and don’t let your boyfriend off the hook that easy. It takes two to make a baby and last time I check God had to do some work to get Mary pregnant…maybe not the tradional way you got pregnant but he was still the second party involved.
  
  You need to talk to your parents. This is when you need them the most. It won’t be easy at all. It will be emotionally frustrating and unbearable, but nothing in life is easy. This will hurt both you and them. And it will take alot to build back the trust that they’ve had for you. Don’t be scared though this is why they are called parents.
  
  Whether this is fake or true… this topic effects many young girls around the country on a daily basis on average. And yes they have free legal abortion clinics.

  OMG! I have so been in your girlfriend’s shoes when I was 17…It didn’t go so great and I wish I can say it was a happy ending. However, I have managed to find a “silver lining” in every dark cloud! Here’s a different way of looking at this situation… From your mother-in-law from hell’s point of view. This is her daughter, she’s young impressionable, and has her whole life in front of her. Usually at 17 life altering decisions are made that impact the outcome of one’s life. I’m sure your girlfriend’s mother is trying to avoid her daughter from impacting her life in such a way that would prevent her from having every possible opportunity she wants in life.
  
  My mother once said this to me and I didn’t understand it at the time;
  
  CHILDREN GROWING UP WITH THEIR PARENTS IS LIKE LIVING IN A COKE BOTTLE…WHEN THEY’RE YOUNG THERE’S ALOT OF ROOM TO MOVE AND PLAY AROUND, BUT AS THE CHILD GETS OLDER THE SPACE TO MOVE AROUND FREELY IS NARROWED AS THEY REACH THE NECK OF THE BOTTLE… THIS IS THE MOST FRAGILE TIME IN LIFE…IF YOU MOVE AROUND TOO MUCH AND CAUSE THE BOTTLE TO SHATTER YOU’LL LOOSE EVERYTHING…BUT IF YOU’RE PATIENT AND CALM YOU’LL GLIDE RIGHT OUT… AND YOU’LL ALWAYS HAVE YOUR BOTTLE.
  
  It wasn’t until I was an adult after my bottle shattered that I realized what she meant. Your girlfriend needs to ask her mother what she wants her to do. She needs to express to her mother that she is a young adult, that she’s been raised well and she needs to ask her mother for her love, trust and respect. Love because she (your girlfriend) needs her mother’s unconditional love for the rest of her life no matter what her choices in life are, because at the end of the day she is still her baby girl. Trust because her mother is going to have to trust her to make the “right” decisions based on the awesome parenting she (the mother) has done so far. Respect because mom is going to have to respect the choices her daughter makes for herself. They need to develop into an adult mother/daughter relationship. This kind of relationship doesn’t revolve around anger, defensiveness, and pain. But instead respect. They need to have a mutual respect for each other and each other’s lives. Your girlfriend needs to be assertive enough to state what she expects from her mother, what she plans for herself, and confident enough to entertain her mother’s advise. This is simply a case of the Alpha female syndrome. Her mother just needs to be reassured that her position as the major influence in her daughter’s life hasn’t changed. Your girlfriend can do this by incorporating her mother’s thoughts in her decision making for starters. She can do this by asking questions like “mom what would like me to do with my life?” I’m sure mom has a few ideas already. And hey you never know you’re girlfriend might be on board with some of them and if she isn’t, she needs to assertively state somthing to this effect…”That nice mom, I’m glad you thought of that but I don’t think its something I want to do…How about this idea…” Once there’s open communication things with your girlfriend relationship with her mother will change.
  
  In the mean time, you need to be supportive. It sounds like you already are, this will take time for them to work out, be sure not to pressure her to do anything she isn’t ready for and reassure both her and her mother you’re not the bad guy.

• I hate my parents… today i droped my phone and it was an accendent and they completly just flipped out on me.
  

  WOW! I have been where you are… First of all you are correct in having faith in your lord! That faith will ease your heart. Second, you’re only 13yrs old. I am a parent myself (my twins are 7) and let me tell you children (no matter thier age) have no idea about the cost of things especially these days. To replace a broken or lost cell phone is about $50 that is if your parents opt’d to get the insurance plan for it, which by the way is anywhere from an additional $5-$10 a month. Keep in mind the word “additional” family plans are by the cheapest way to go when trying to satisfy everyone’s personal communication needs. That doesn’t mean it doesn’t cost a pretty penny monthly. However, compare that cost to everyone having individual plans and you’ll see the pricey difference.
  
  Now, I’m sure you’re parents love you very much and they would be distraught with worry if you ran away and they couldn’t find you. If you did, how would you eat? where would you sleep? in a shelter for the youth… these kids are hard… they’re not used to the comforts that you have at your disposal. To them you’re an outsider trying to be “cool”. Some of them have been living without anything you have had for the past 13 years of your life. For instance, you have people who will love you no matter what (even though you might not feel that way right now…they do), some of those kids were given away at birth and don’t have the simple comforts of a good home. Some have been beaten terribly by the very people that are supposed to love them unconditionally…. The way your parents love you!
  
  I have a bit of advice that I’m sure will wow your parents and put you in first place (no pun intented if you’re theor first born), you need to show your parents that you are responsible and you need to WOW them by taking responsibilty for your actions- yes for breaking your cell phone. Just catch them off guard…you know maybe when their just watching TV or in the kitchen making dinner and talking… and tell them you know it was pretty irresponsible of you to break your phone, but it truely was an accident and you’ll try to be more careful in the future. Explain to them that you’re not oblivious to the cost of having a cell phone and you know it’s cheap. Voluteer to do extra chores around the house to work off the cost of getting it replaced. Depending on what state you’re in talk to them about getting a part time job to cover your previledged expenses.
  
  Doing this will show your parents that you’re growing into a mature, responsible young adult. They will be hestitant at first but if you attempt to be mature and show them that you are trying to be I am sure they will eventually come around. On the flip side, if you act immature and loose your cool, by yelling and whining about how its not fair you’re only showing them you’re still a child.
