  I’m sorry that some of you are still brainwashed by this fundamentalist cult. Really, it does make me sad that any of you still think that you ever deserved to be in there or that it was actually beneficial to you. If this is your idea of a good or decent way to handle troubled kids I am going to go ahead and assume that you have grown up into a very confused adult that most likely needs a great deal of therapy. While I was in the New Boston,TX location in 97 a girl ran away from there and was found brain dead on the side of a highwy in California from huffing some kind of chemicals. That’s close enough to dead for it to count in my book. Obviously the program didn’t work for her. You want proof of the atrocities committed by the Holy Highway? You need look no further than this blog! My story has been collaborated by several different people that I had no idea would ever read this. As for losing 50 lbs…I LOST THAT MUCH!..because I was on hard labor for 6 months straight and I refused to eat the disgusting refuse that they attempted to pass of as food. You’re right though many girls did gain weight I’ll give you that much, but personally when I got home everyone who had previously known me thought I was sick because i was so thin. But, okay, fine, lets do it your way…leave out the fact that I know of at least one girl found brain dead, and the weight loss thing…6 months of talk isolation and hard labor, prophesying, insufficient water for long texas summers, girls passing out, food with insects, would you send your kid to this place? Do you also still believe that you can have literal conversations with god? Sister Charlotte read to us nightly from a book called The Divine Revelation of Hell, a book in which a either a crazy lady whacked out of her mind, or an oppertunist trying to cash in on brainwashed people like Charlotte, claims that God recently (as in the last 10 or 15 yrs) Took her to hell and showed her the ropes and the different levels so that she could come back and write that book to warn people. More like scare them into submission. And what do you know once the book became a best seller amongst the fundamentalist evangelical circuit god took her to heaven and she then wrote The Divine Revelation of Heaven. Do you people seriously not understand how this works? Do you still really believe in these things, and then call Mormons crazy? Let me offer you a little piece of advice that I swear will make you happier than subscribing to these supersticious lies that your head is so jam packed with that you can’t decipher fact from fiction…go out, get laid, have a good time and maybe write your own book of nonsense that you can sell for 16.95$ at your local Barnes and Noble…Then you will be rich…and you can believe that Hanson is the holy trinity if you want.

  apply all over the place! apply first at places that you think you would be happy, but don’t be snobbish if something comes up that wasn’t exactally your dream job. be willing to work weekends if you possibly can. if you’re filling out applications then write as neatly as possible, say as many positive things about yourself as possible (but don’t be showy), and list as many qualifications or experience you have had in life that applys to what you’re trying to do…even if it was just something for your mom.

  thanks again….I have learned a valuable lesson here…if ever an internet recipe tells you it is possible to cook a decent pot roast on high that recipe would be wrong.

  I opened it up it is definitely done but i want it much more tender than this and it has already been in for 9 hours. I also wanted some gravy but i think i put too much water in the pot roast because it made more of a beef broth than grease drippings. is there anyway to make gravy from this?
