I know, it takes some getting used to for sure. Imagine how it was for me last year in the shelter. That was unreal..oh and walmart dropped off the gifts for this year, my basement is full. Unbelievable! I’m humbled, grateful and hopeful to pay it forward some day.

Meg and Keith are bringing Lily over tomorrow for Christmas Eve dinner.
They’re off to the dragon lady’s place on Thursday, although Keith may end up back here.
It is hard to accept the generosity of others. Other than family (and even then…just my parents) nobody has ever been really generous to me. It’s a really odd sensation.

Don’t feel guilty about the gifts, they know and wanted you to have something. That’s what Christmas is about. WOW, 2 of my neighbours have come by..the young guy from the front, yesterday and the lady next to me, in the building. They both brought Christmas presents. I can’t afford to get gifts, and feel guilty as hell, but they both said I was getting the gift whether I could afford anything or not.
But, in a nicer way…

The legs seem to be behaving themselves. I’m keeping an eye on the “sunburn” which has pretty much disappeared. The doc gave me another prescription for the penicillin, and told me if it starts up again, get the prescription and contact his office again. Nice… I think I might just get it before Christmas, otherwise there’s 2 days when I can’t get it…

I’ve not seen Lily for a week or so. Been talking to Meg and Keith, but the wee one is either feeding(funny..my daughter doesn’t want me to see her bare breast…LOL) or her and Meg are sleeping.
Family Xmas is Saturday, so I get to show her off!
