- (1 vote) I Really want to die, I’ve wanted to die since I was a kid, but by some cruel twist of fate humans are wired not to kill themselves.
Plenty of ppl can kill themselves, you obviously don’t want to die that badly or you would have done it by now. See, your still not dead. I’d say you just need to concentrate a bit more on the good things in life. Start now, get off your computer and go outside, then your in the world. The world is a crazy crazy place so be careful, watch where you step and don’t talk to strangers. Now your out in the world, find something to do. Theres millions of possibilities, all you need to do is look and you shall find. Try being positive about stuff, anything, and gradually the bad feelings should be replaced with good and you’ll wonder why you ever got fed up in the first place

It is my honest opinion that within the next few generations the more extreme forms of Islam will be dead. Not due to war but simply due to the large numbers of young muslims living in western countries who are becoming increasingly disenchanted with their faith. I live in a town with a very high population of muslims (Oldham, we had a race riot a few years back) and at work 70% of my colleauges (sp ?) are young muslims and they take every opportunity to practice what their parents beleive to be ‘the evils of western society’ ie, drinking,pre marital sex etc. I think that as their parents and grand parents generations die off we will see a massive increase in liberal muslims, who will still practice their religion, just in a lesser way than now. I am actually seeing a muslim girl at the moment and she is questioning pretty much everything she’s been told to beleive for the past twenty years. Whilst I am feeling quite guilty about the changes I’ve brought about in her I can’t help but be happy to see how much she’s blossoming into the confident, outgoing and downright sexy woman she hasn’t been allowed to be. I don’t care one jot about religion but the whole victorian standards surounding the treatment of women in Islam makes me sick. Any of the guys at work are allowed to go out at any time they like and see who they like, the girls however are all kept on a tight leash and have to sneak around to see each other. Also I can tell you, as a fact, that in muslim society domestic abuse is rife and hitting women is not frowned upon. Any god who doesn’t mind that is quite questionable I think.
