We’re not supposed to have them out during class unless the teacher lets us or we’re in study hall or something, but almost everyone has an ipod. my creative writing teacher lets me listen to it too

Thanks for the advice, all of you. F.anje, I actually did the song thing today and it does help a lot. As soon as I felt my train of thought becoming depressed, I just started thinking of some of my favorite songs and it not only distracted me but made me feel better. Today I thought of “Revolution” by the beatles almost all day haha…the lines “Don’t you know it’s gonna be, alright. You know it’s gonna be, alright” really helped. Thanks.

junior…and yeah but I just don’t really have any close friends anymore. I mean my girlfriend was great, and I had friends but they’re either distracted with relationships, drugs (which I’ve never done), partying, or just not caring to ask about my life. I know they probably aren’t the greatest friends, but I just don’t know what to do anymore. Waking up is hard to do when I know the world will just crash down on my head as soon as I do.

To answer you simply, yes. We as humans like to say that “bad things happen to good people” but in actualality, we aren’t good people. Everyone sucks, everyone sins. We try to compare ourselves to eachother to say who is better than whom, but the truth is, we should only be comparing ourselves to God. Think of sin as a 100ft gap in the ground, where God is on one side, and we on the other. Some people, who live less sinful lives, may be able to jump 20 feet across the gap, others maybe 10ft or less. But it doesn’t matter, because in the end, all of us misses the mark because we are human. No human can jump 100ft on his own. However, God did send us Christ, his son, to come down and die for our sins on the cross. If you picture his arms outstretched across the gap, it makes the bridge to connect us to God.

I think that if they never got the chance to hear the truth about God and His divine grace, then they will be judged accordingly. However, it is different to not hear about God, and to hear about God, and choose not to act or follow.

I’m not going to pretend to know the answers to every question. I know what I believe, and I know what i believe is true, BUT I am not, and never will be, one to judge…However the aztecs were also before Christ so I’m not sure what would have happened.

In our lives, we are presented with the truth, God. It is up to us, to either base our beliefs off what this corrupt world will try to tell us is right, or choose to follow in the love of the true way. Many people will claim to know or love God, however, few are actually consistantly loyal. In the end, when you actually experience the love of Christ, you will know He is true. I’m going to be real with you and I believe this to be true with my entire heart, soul, and strength, So please use me for any questions.

Yeah sorry about what I said earlier…I thought about what I told you and realized i was wrong…whether you know it is wrong or not, a sin IS a sin. In the Bible God says he will wait until everyone has heard of Him, so that everyone has the chance to except or deny him. So to answer your question, no, a sin is a sin, whether you know it or not. sorry for the mix up..my bad

I would say that if you are not aware that something you are doing is wrong, then you cannot be expected to know better. However, this is unlikely since almost everyone knows that muder, rape, theft, adultery etc. is bad.

Simply the consciousness of doing what is wrong, or not doing what is right according To God.

Most of us go through life, trying to live for ourselves and using material possessions to fill us up. In the end, nothing on earth will last forever…everything eventually rusts, spoils, or fade. However, you are not alone, my friend. There is one thing you could be missing that may cause you to feel like you aren’t living to your fullest extent. I’m talking about God’s grace and love. Though to most of the world, he seems invisible, his love surrounds us. It is impossible to live a completely happy and filled life, without Him in your heart. I would take some time to think about this…if you have any questions at all, just ask me please.

Thanks for the advice guys…I guess now I’m just torn between the decision of either not talking or seeing her at all which might make it easier or quicker to move on, or to try to stay her friend and risk getting hurt if she moves on before I do. Either way seems to be a risk…miss out on other opportunities,or miss out on her.
