  I don’t think it really matters. All politicians are the same. People blame the economy, the war, so on and so on on the president, but it’s really congress that passes the legislation. Congress voted to go to Iraq, and the economy problem is from a much earlier bubble in housing combined with the unrealistic feelings of entitlement Americans have.
  
  So I’d say the president really doesn’t matter in the grand scheme of things nowadays, he’s only a few steps up from a figurehead. You have to be realistic and admit that both political parties are practically the same. Spending too much money, and supporting the constitution only when it serves them. We would still have the same problems, no doubt.
  
  However, if Al Gore were president, he wouldn’t have come out with An Inconvenient Truth, and that would make my Environmental Studies class slightly more pleasant, and the environmental movement a teensy bit more logical.

  People always change. If they get better or worse is pretty unpredictable, but from my experience it is very hard to reverse a negative trend, and some people just have flaws that don’t go away. :\
  
  So yeah, people can get better, but I wouldn’t put any money on the person in question doing so just because you want them too.

  Don’t eat anything that might upset your stomach… I’d suggest something with lots of carbs and some water or fruit juice. Things high in fat or protein will probably slow you down.

  I think you’re supposed to tell a worry to each one, so if you only have four worries, I guess you’d be fine.
  
  To me, they’re more about the ritual of telling someone your worries to make your outlook better. Sometimes it helps, sometimes it doesn’t.

  Take notes on everything, pay attention to everything around you and ask yourself questions about it. Force yourself to write until you can make it sound good. Eventually, you’ll either get good ideas, good material, or both.
