  Please read miss jessica bunny’s post called Warning. it is the most eloquent description of why not to cut I have ever read.
  
  14 is really young to get maried. most people go through a couple of boy/girlfriends each year between 14 and 20 yo. Imagine the other people you could meet, those that wouldnt hurt you eomtionally, or physically. This boy sounds like he has his own problems, and wont be there to support you when you need it.
  
  I say stay together, dating. There’s no need to be married that young. If you really are that important to each other you can wait to see how you feel in 12 months or 2 years. If you can stay together that long at your age without being married there will be more hope for you together if you do decide to marry.
  
  Marriage is expensive and binding. Divorce is more expensive and difficult. If you stay dating, and decide you dont like each other at the other end of puberty, you can just break up.

  Sex can be a soft, sensual experience, it can be clumsy and awarkward, or it can be a strong hard F***k. Whatever your flavour, remember to be safe using whatever method works best.
  
  You say you are a virgin, so you must be young… You have a world of pleasure ahead of you, so as you go along try different options and find what works best for you. The pill sounds like the best option for you, but if you are still woried, use a comdom with spermacide too.
  
  There is a lot to learn, and there is a lot of information out there for you. Try different things, and if it doesnt feel right, stop. It is your body, and your responsibility for it’s safety. We can give you lots of information, but when it comes down to it, and it’s just you and him in the room together about to get it on, think of your safety and his, and make the decision that is right for you.

  I think my original point was would you rather have a bad father, or no father at all. With my experience I would rather have no father than have someone who resents being there and puts in no effort at all.

  My mum tought me most everything I needed. I had lots of men around that I could ask questions, and I had a really tight knit group of male friends through high school. But now I’m a father, I realised the most important thing I learnt from other men was what not to do, both in relationships, as a father, and in general.
  
  I guess there were a few guy’s that tried to help out (an uncle taught me how to stand up to pee) but most of my role models were my peer group around me.

  I partially agree with you J.D.L. After my wife gave bith to our first child we had to use condoms for a while, and it did really suck. It takes away from the moment, it decreases sensation, and it puts a mental barrier between you.
  
  After a period of bad sex, we talked it through. First, we found a better fitting condom, and we realised the lack of sensation was a good thing…. longer lasting sex, and now she helps put the condom on for me, sometimes she does it with her mouth (really sexy). And the best part was that it stopped us getting pregnant, which was the whole point in the first place.
  
  We dont have to worry about STD’s, but if you are young, and not in a steady monogamous relationship, you really need to make yourself aware of te diseases you are protecting yourself and your future partners from. Do you want to go to the doctor to ask “What’s this yellow gunk oozing from the tip of my….”
