I highly doubt that Sodom and Gomorah burnt to the ground because of homosexuality. And the prevailing theory of how AIDS crossed over to humans is the hunter theory, not the bestiality theory. Wouldn’t AIDS be a result of bestiality, not homosexuality if that were true?

I don’t see the bible as having any authority, so your quotations will be lost on me. I was merely suggesting that you take a more tolerant approach to your religion. Obviously everyone chooses what they want to follow from the bible, considering the huge amount of denominations. Since there is no one true Christianity, let alone religion, I was suggesting you be less of the judgmental ones.

I’m not convinced that homosexuality is a sin. AIDS virus is transferred through heterosexual intercourse as well, and blood transfusions. If contraception is used, I see no pain that these homosexuals would suffer from besides the intolerance that people like you show them when they just want to be in love like all humans. It just happens to be the same sex.

I believe hell is not literal. It is a mental state, probably something like related to guilt.

I have achieved happiness without religion. I do not need it. I am living a good life and I am not even performing many of the things you call sins.

Religion is a subjective thing for everyone. It can’t be that everyone’s own specific views are right. That means you can’t tell people about your religion like it is the Ultimate Truth.

That part I understand. Setting us apart from sin is the salvation of the Lord. Setting us apart from sin doesnt mean removal of the desires of man though. At least not while on this earth. It means that we are able to be forgiven for our sins, even after being saved. I dont sin intentionally, but when I do I am comforted in Christ to know I’ll be forgiven. Again, Faith without works is dead.

Grace, you repeatedly said in this post that once someone truly repents, the desire to sin is removed. How can that be? You agree that humanity is imperfect. You agree that God forgives our sins. You agree that christians are to attempt to be Christ-like and will never be able to be. So how is our desire to sin completely removed?

You were right to claim that the proof is in the scripture, If you can find something that states by FAITH ALONE, one will be accepted into the kingdom of God, I’d to see it.

I believe in JC. I have accepted him as my personal saviour. Every christian on this site has tried to prove through Romans & Ephesians that works are irrelevant. Every verse that has been given here has stated that works alone wouldnt get you in heaven. Nowhere did it state that works are unimportant. My proof to you is here

Sorry it took me so long to find it. What I read through in Ephesioans & Romans warned not to boast of ones works. They are not to glorify you, they are to Glorify God.

hi there: I don’t know if you read cattie’s earlier writings. When she threw up the first time she went to the hospital and apparently she has two ulcers(hence the bleeding). She is also bulemic. Many problems for this little flower.
Just wanted you to see this info so you know what she has previously said to some of us.
Isn’t little sister delightful? Glad you are praying for her too.
