• I’ve recently flunked out of uni what can i do now?
  

  dude… i was on academic probation pretty much throughout my university life… and trust me, i was there for many many many years… everytime they tried to kick me out i would find some loop-hole in the appeals process to get back in. i guess i was really resourcful at procrastinating - which is basically what i did for many years, and every time i would ‘get another chance’ i would blow it all over again by failing most (if not all) of my classes.
  
  well… enough was enough i told myself one year and i sat my ass down and really studied hard… i sacrificed A LOT, i was studying pretty much 24/7… it was crazy… but i had an amazing gpa that year (around 3.9) and by the end of the year i only had 6 classes left to finish my degree in economics.
  
  so… the next year began… and everything just seemed to fall apart in my life… to make a long story short i flunked all my classes and this time there was no loop-hole to be found… i was finally kicked out of uni…. i was devestated… i spent the next year or so drinking, gambling and doing pretty much nothing… i felt as if my life had no direction…
  
  to make a long story short…. i realized one day that there is nothing in this world i cant do if i set my mind to it…. NOTHING… so i finsihed the remaining classes i needed to graduate from an online university and ended up getting my degree… AND… i also finished a second degree (in accounting) over two years and graduated with great distinction (with a 3.9 gpa)
  
  to make a long story short… dont stress dude… you’re probably still young.. take some time and chill.. go party.. have fun… but also spend some time thinking about what you really want to do in life…. DONT LET OTHER PEOPLE SCARE YOU INTO THINKING THAT ANYTHING IN LIFE IS THE END OF THE WORLD…. shit happens… learn from it and move on… and chill… be happy… great things come to you when you are positive.

  sure… bon jovi sings about life in a lot of his songs… how can one not be influneced by that?

  it’s not that some people are born knowing what they want to do and others are not - we are all born the same. it is just that some people can hear their inner voice with great clarity. by inner voice, i mean that some people are able to better identify with their true self - their soul. always remember we are human ‘beings’ not human ‘doings’. what we do in life has very little to do with who we are, our being. i am more than my job, more than my career, more than my dreams and aspirations, more than my successes and failures. i am much more than these things, as are you, because our true being is something that transcends this world.
  when you are unhappy with life it often means that you have to look under the surface - you have to dig deeper. it may appear we are unhappy with our career, our partner, our image - but almost all of the time on a much deeper level we are neglecting what our true self (the soul) is telling us. learn to listen to the infinite wisdom you have right there inside of you, it takes work, but it can be done.
