  Bravo minaa, well done. I agree with you, Expecting immediate results and not getting them will discourage you. We must be realistic, give a fair time and have patients.

  Again its all in your head, there is no switch you can turn on or off to make you positive when you need too. i wish it was that simple, but thats life, sometimes its good sometimes its not. what matters is knowing how to deal with it when when its not going so good. you’re not gonna be able to maintain a positive attitude 24/7, but the key is realizing it when u start drifting away from the right path (which is in this case is staying positive) and deal with whatever is bothering you and pull your self up. how? keep trying to have that positive thinking and soon you’ll be in better condition.

  All you need is to keep trying, don’t respond to your depression. force you self to do things, the first couple of times its gonna be dreadful, but after that it will start feeling better and starts being a habit to act upon your thoughts, before you start getting discouraged, and soon after that hopefully you’ll drop feeling discouraged all together.
  
  And when you find it working, and your able to finish what you intend on doing, then your just gonna start challenging your self to see what else you can do. its fun and feels great.

  My friend it is never too late. What your saying sounds very familiar, and yes i think fear of not being good enough or failure is a big part of it. the constant thinking and worrying of not being good enough discourages us and makes us just quit instead.
  
  I used to feel the same way, how do i deal with it? …I just do it! I ignore all the thoughts of not being good enough and i just start with whatever i want to do and keep up a positive way of thinking. like it doesn’t matter if your not good enough, what matters is that your doing something better than nothing. Because its all in your head its not real, you don’t know if the end result is good or bad till you’ve completely done it. take painting for example, if you think your painting is bad others might see it as a work of art.
  have you have thought that maybe your thinking much less of your self than you should? or being too judgmental of your self?
  
  give your self a break and just go ahead and work on your dreams.
  no matter what happens in the end its still worth something.

  Hello friends,
  
  i am happy to inform you that i am doing much better! as i said i started with baby steps take a small task that i need to do and then focus on getting it done quickly, and then another small thing and then a bigger one and bigger. and taking one thing at a time so my mind doesn’t get clustered and i end up not doing anything… and praise god i am doing great, i have written a new great poem, i have finally quit smoking and i haven’t dropped out of college when i was on the verge of doing so when i only have one year left to graduate, and now im starting to take my major seriously and im actually starting to learn and like my studies… i don’t know if these things sound like achievements to you but they are for me.
  
  Guys tell me how you are doing, i hope you are doing just as good and better than me. if u need anything let me know, post a reply or something.
