Entitled it depends… I been in a situation as to where I was being choked and first thing my hand fell on war a screw driver if I had to say was I entitled to kill right then I would say yes, I however chose not to which I was also entitled to do.

I also think it is inhumane to catch people and lock them up, but I see no better alternative if we want to protect others.
But the capital punishment is something different. You mentioned an example where somebody had beaten a child to death.
Well, I still oppose an institutionalized capital punishment, because that has nothing to do with the kid. It is only something between the lawmakers/government and its people.

If somebody did something to my kids, I would probably be able to kill him by myself.
But I don’t think I should be given the right to do it. Nobody has the RIGHT to give me the right to do it.

I am also against tests on prisoners, because nobody can guarantee the “volontary” part of it. And even if you could guarantee that, do you really think that anybody should have the right to perform the tests?
Ultimately - even if I asked you to kill me and if you can prove that it is really my wish - would you think that you should be entitled to do it?

Hello again. I just want to let you know that if you wish to quote someone on a post it’s easier to press the speech mark on the opposite site of the name of the person you are wishing to quote. It will save you the typing. I agree with you that was way to harsh.

well, due to being abused as a wife.. all because of being abused as a child.. that is all the life i ever knew.. and from finally running with my children … the state stepped in and took my 3 children 5 years ago… all because i ran with them.. they considered it almost kidnapping.. been a long fight with that.. along with the fact that i had just had surgery last month to fix an old fracture in my neck and the tumor that i have is inoperable.. it was caused by blunt force trauma.. and being that im 33… my life is slowly going… becoming a thinking vegetable.. probably never able to hug my children ever again.. by the time they get to come home.. as i cant buy the judge like the abuser is..

i too have a long list of bad… but when someone tries to control my thoughts or opinions.. it just made me very upset.. and im hoping that you understand that.. im sorry for causing issues towards you.. but im not sorry for trying to stand up for myself.. if that makes any sense.

but anyways.. i have taken some pain pills and they are starting to kick in now… im heading off to bed… hopefully we both understand each other… and will be greatfully helpful on this site together.. night.

you see, i am a ten year domestic violence survivor.. i was not only beat.. i was made to never have an opinion.. never able to smile unless ok’d by this man.. etc.. and i was just trying to put in my opinion.. and when you tried to over rule what i was saying.. it just made me feel like i was going through all that again.. and it really upset me.. because i dont ever want to go through that again… i only invited people because i wanted others to put in their own opinions.. and if you looked, they didnt say anything about medications and such… it was about other stuff.. it wasnt to come and back me up.. i just wanted to see what their opinions were.

as for me… treating others with respect.. i absolutely do.. infact have become a great asset to this site from what i am told.. and have many people asking for my help due to my opinions.. and that is all i ever give.. opinions.. but when someone tries to take my opinion away.. it really does make me upset.. if you can really see where im coming from..

i was not trying to argue.. i just didnt want my opinions to be shot down.. like it didnt matter.. like my past… so i was standing up for myself… because i didnt like being treated that way before.. and didnt want to re live it..

I am feeling great and I thank you for confiding that sorry to have created a scene but that type of behavior is something I do not tolerate quietly to myself or others. I think this sight has a wonderful concept and many people can find help here, but I firmly believe that that has to stay the main focus and not personal status on this sight. No one is less valuable than anyone else we are all equal.

I genuinely feel what you went through, to persevere through all that treatment after your accident, deserves recognition. Thank you for your post and your honesty. I know some of my posts are sarcastic and how easily it could be misinterpreted but that one really wasn’t.

Look rather you are stupid or not has no bearing on me or my life. like i said i never gave thought to making you anything or to look anything. i did nothing wrong if i did report me but do it off my page now up till now i have been patient and nice with you.

for one, if you want to talk about me, then i have every right to come here and defend myself. for one, i was not arguing with you at first. i was stating my opinions along with proof from a medical website, stating that abruptly stopping the medication can cause harm. then you came in to try to over throw my comments. i agreed about going to the dr’s.. but when i take information straight from a medical site, and you try to over throw those comments rather than keeping to your own comments, i have the right to get ticked off. and as for you trying to over rule my comments is wrong as every one is entitled to have an opinion. as for you talking about me and stating that i have issues and such, you are right… i have issues of people treating me in such a way of trying to make me look stupid and i will not stand for that to happen. i have no anger at anyone, as for one, you do not know me, you dont know my life or how i am feeling at this very second.. but i will say, do not come onto any post and try to over throw my opinion nor anyone elses.. or you will again be reported and possibly booted. everyone has the right to have an opinion, not just YOU.. so grow up and stop talking about me. bring it to my face if you have a problem about me…

Thank you I believe the post speaks for itself. Shie and I had a difference of opinion her advice was to start taking the meds again I advised her to see her doctor first as he may want to change her meds upon exam as the meds themselves can sometimes cause such symptoms but the only sure way to know is to see the doctor. Now I could be wrong but it seems to me that should not create all this drama nor should her being a long time user even have a bearing in the situation. If I have broken a rule please tell me which one if not please caution this patron not to directly interact with me if she is going to do so aggressively as that is not why i am here.

First how you look has never once entered my mind. That you are making my comments personal and making it all about how you feel rather than seeing that I too have experience and I too have an opinion shows that it is some personal insecurity in you that is motive for this emotional outburst. If you need to talk I will listen but I will not be made to feel responsible for you. Please report me I feel that any good moderator will be able to read that conversation and see that your problem is with me because I am new and you think your long standing here will allow you to get away with such behavior. i never pick and choose who i report. i report those who try to cause arguments on the posts. it is against the TOS of help.com. as a long time user, i will not sit back and have my comments taken over or tried to look foolish when i have lived life and know what im talking about. you are trying to make me look foolish and I WILL NOT HAVE IT.. im not stupid… so if it takes reporting you, then so be it.. maybe you will learn that you are not the only one who can have an opinion…
