• ive opened up before, to a counsellor, but it hasn’t helped… im just living life, existing..
  

  Every human has preprogrammed subconscious mechanisms (emotions) to let the individual know how he’s doing in his life. Depression - signals that you have chosen a goal, or happiness to be stemming from the wrong place.
  Happines from looks - depression, - looks fade. Happines from people - depression, - you can’t control people and what they will think of you. And, etc.
  So happiness, or depression - starts with your understanding of life, what you think life is all about. If you think it’s about tangible things - at the end (death) you will realize, that it’s not,- because you can’t take with you even a broken penny. You will also have realized,- you have wasted your life. Happines and depresson - are intangible things. Then why do people look for solutions among tangible ones…?
  Life will pass no matter how you live it. Enjoy every moment of it. And don’t forget to find it’s meaning.
