  Often in life we have two options:
  
  To defend or to let go…
  
  It takes wisdom to know the right way to go,
  e.g. if you are in clearly abusive relationship, of course you can’t stay in there.
  
  However, maybe sometimes all we need is putting some more efforts in what we have?
  
  You have a daughter already, it is best and wise to take her well being into account…
  
  Is it still possible for you two to sit and talk?

  and whoever has daughters and raises them with care shall have paradise as reward.
