2009-11-28 22:20:13 on What are the simple pleasures of life?
comfort foods…chilli porcupine balls with mash mmm
bubble baths - or milk baths
reading short fictions or true life mags down my the river
spending an arvo to yourself and loading up your cd player with all the songs you loved over a decade ago while dressing up in clothes you wouldnt be seen dead in now days and trying new makeup styles
getting your hair cut…that massage you get when they wash your hair!
watching the kids play in the park (when theyre yours!)
picking a random flower while you walking just to admire its beauty
having coffee with a friend and just sitting there not talking because your so comfortable with them
showing random appreciation for someone, just because you can, not because its a ’special’ day
having a single drink after a hard days work and just letting the load you carried melt away
learning to cook something new
driving - no where in particular, just heading out of town and enjoying the scenery
being proud of your kids when they’ve achieved something, or when you know they tried really hard to
bumping into old friends

your not sure if these new shoes are good for dancing yet, can he dance with you to help test them out
2009-11-22 19:23:30 on Plz note that if you need help…
whoops, got that last bit wrong, but you know what i meant, we can ignore our lives in favor of a response, or actively participate in our lives
2009-11-22 19:07:31 on Plz note that if you need help…
sometimes I might ask a question but then the phone rings, or someone turns up , I get called into work unexpectedly or I need to console a friend or family member for something, life happens and we cant control when it does and we have to make the choice, rudely ignore those who are an active part in our lives or stay on the net staring at a page waiting for a response
2009-11-22 17:30:15 on hi every1, i like this girl.
Find out about her. Ask her about herself. What movies she likes, music, food, anything. Let her know you are interested in HER. She will feel very flattered. You are bound to find out that you have SOMETHING in common. And then you can naturally talk about that. And if you are in the same school/college/work place (delete as appropriate!), you can talk about that. If you are shy, and get really nervous, actually write down a list of topics before hand and read them over. This may sound stupid and over prepared, but it can help calm your nerves knowing that if you do start to get nervous and shy, you have a sort of “plan” to recover the situation.
And just be yourself. Talk about what you would talk about with a good friend. If she doesn’t appreciate that, then she isn’t worth it! :D
this is great advice!!!
especially the first few sentences!!!

2009-11-21 07:27:52 on I need advice.my parenets won’t let me get a puppy, and i realy want one!
there u go, u can mark it now
I am trying to come back out of my shell again, that anon button has just become so much of a habit…
2009-11-21 07:26:30 on I need advice.my parenets won’t let me get a puppy, and i realy want one!
your mum has a baby and you want to introduce a puppy that she will have to look after while your at school while shes caring for a baby
think about it please!
if you want a puppy so badly you will show your parents that you respect they already have enough on their plate then they might consider it when the baby is older and more self sufficient as a reward for being so patient, if you hassle them about it now without that respect then you most likely wont get one later on simply because youve proven that this puppy is simply a selfish luxury for you
Your parents wont let you have one while they (for whatever reason) dont have the time, patience or ability to take on that responsibility because no matter how you look at it they will have to be responsible for the puppy as well, they need to pay for its food, its worming, its vaccines, registration and micro chipping, vet checkups, unexpected medical bills, they need to train you to train the pup, think fairly for what they already need to do to care for you and the baby
2009-11-14 16:05:15 on list of songs….
David Guetta - Sexy B*tch
Pitbull - I know you want me
69 Boyz - C’mon Ride the train
2009-11-01 23:46:53 on I have 5 cats and none of them seem to like the dried catnip i bought for them?
try an actual catnip plant, the dried stuff doesnt hold the same proporties, its lost all the good stuff, its just a maketing ploy, my cats never cared for it either, but if u get an actual plant, they will love it
2009-10-17 20:00:03 on Halloween Ideas
actually, I already have my costume set…
I’m going with the classic witch
teased hair, green face with a strategically placed wart, black clothing that drapes, boots and the one hint of color, red striped long socks :)
2009-10-12 22:11:01 on Ive wasted my time :(
im getting ready to let go, it will only be a very short process, thats why im looking outside the box and why ive come to this realization that I dont have the time or resources now to complete the average ideal of owning a home :(
Im not really phased about finding another ‘love’ at this point it really wouldnt worry me if i spent the rest of my life “alone”
its the lack of achievement over my prime years and wondering how on earth i can make it happen for me, even after being alone
2009-10-08 02:53:42 on What are your favourite books?
I love reading, mostly psychological thrillers
my favorite book would have to be ‘Alone’ by Lisa Gardner
2009-09-30 17:02:00 on Psychological thrillers

cheers :)
