  Alice,
  I guess that the chipping away of love is what has done it for me. I can tell you yes, that I do love her today, but never in comparison to how I adored her several years back. I can tell you that my instinct for self preservation has taken over and I cannot continue an up-hill battle. She is still in her cycle, but I am beginning to notice she is starting to come out of it by small actions she makes. No matter though, I am out this time for good and I cannot look back. I have two children I have to stay healthy for and being in this mad relationship is not good.
  
  I wish you only the best in your struggle and hope that your husband comes around and admits he needs help. Please drop a line once in a while and let me know how you are doing. God Bless and good luck.

  My wifes behavior is usually triggered by stress and usually about the same time every year. It has gotten progressively worse during the past few months and she always threatens with divorce and I end up in the dog house for a few months until her cycle is over. I have decided that I have had enough since she refuses to accept she has a problem and of course its all my fault, so no matter how much I love her, I cannot continue since this will in the end hurt me emotionally and could have long lasting impact.
  Unless ur husband seeks help, the cycles will continue and get worse. If u can convince him when he is out of this cycle to get help I would certainly advise it much. Good Luck to you!

  Eden: Thanks for the prayers I can sure use them. I can assure you that I have done my very best, but at this point I am out of emotional strength and I need to get out of it.
  
  Binary: Glad to hear you are dating… How long did you wait before you felt comfortable seeing someone else? I am glad that your kids will be with you for the holidays. I haven’t planned out yet what I will do with mine, hopefully I can work something out with her…
  
  Update: To my surprise the State of Florida’s Judicial Court System is very impressive… My soon to be ex filed a “Request to Vacate Dismissal” on Tuesday and she got a response today; that was pretty quick. Anyway they denied the request so she will have to re-file a new case. As you can imagine she was not very happy, but as they say “such is life”.

  Thanx kingdomcOm. I Know down deep inside this is what is right and healthiest for my children and me.
  Like I said a few posts before, I have up days and down days for now, but overall these past few have been up.. I will do my best to keep them all up!
