  Please don’t get your self worth by others telling you that you are pretty; that also goes for don’t think less of yourself because you don’t fit others’ idea of the same. Be true to yourself and strive to do the right thing, and you will be pleased with you, is simple. Your age also plays a part; we were all unsure at 14. Just enjoy being who you are, and others will too.

  Honesty first. Compassionate, humorous, intelligent, trustworthy (not in any particular order) someone who has the same ideas of what a ‘friend’ is as I do; not someone who professes to be your great friend but wouldn’t go out of their way to help if you really needed it. Someone you can laugh and cry with, and who will understand where you’re coming from, but also tell you the truth, not what you want to hear. Count yourself lucky if you have more than three of this sort of friends in your life, they’re hard to come by.

  People are not gonna come and knock on your door to be friends with you, you gotta get out and off that pc. Maybe take a class on something that interests you, or a sport, or a hobby.

  Personal opinion, your wife needs to know, BEFORE you hop in the bed with her. You need to be checked in 3 months for AIDS, and again another 3 months after that. Sex can kill you now, you know. Sorry, but if you were that guilty, you wouldn’t have bedded him in the first place; your wife deserves to know if you have engaged in irresponsible behavior which could cause her harm down the road.

  NO hon, a whole bottle of any alcohol the size of a champagne bottle for one person in one sitting is excessive, unless it was a smaller like ‘personal’ size. I don’t drink it so I dunno if it even comes in small bottles like that. All the champagne I know comes in big bottles. You didn’t say if she was drunk when she finished. Some have a higher tolerance for alcohol, one person can get drunk off of two drinks, for another they can drink that whole bottle to reach that point. Find you an alanon meeting before confronting her, they will have literature you can read and you can get support for you and other suggestions on which way to go.

  Hmmmm, I’m gonna need more story for a title, lol. That is just a small part, and though I like ‘Colours of Twilight’, it might not fit in with the rest of the story.

  Alanon is for family members; there is education, help and support for you there. You can’t make her do anything. She has to be ready to put in the work necessary to stop for herself, she can’t do it for you or anyone else. Sometimes, even if they get help, they go right back out, like the other poster’s sister. Unfortunately, the ultimate ending is prison, insanity or death if it doesn’t stop. I hope she’s ready to make the right decision, but if not, please get the help that you need. You can’t change her, only your reaction. Good luck…
