  I hate rap too but a band that you can’t really put a genre-label on is Hollywood Undead. Most definitely worth checking out, they are so addicting I can listen to them 24/7 and never get sick of even a single song.

  I know you’re trying to protect her by setting these criteria for who is worthy to date her, but you aren’t her, in the end she’s the only one that can choose which path she takes and she won’t walk down your path if she doesn’t even know it’s an option. You don’t know she’ll reject you if you don’t give her the chance. Trust me, it’s worth it, and there’s no guarantee that it’ll ruin the friendship. I have feelings for my best friend and she knows it and we’re still best friends with no awkwardness between us. Most likely she’ll respect your honesty and if you make it clear that you’d rather be her friend than lose her all together then you definitely have a chance. Being willing to open up about it is a huge key.

  Currently he’s in relative safety in Germany but that’s only about another 2 months before he ships out to Kuwait.

  Clothes do not make the girl, the girl’s attitude makes the girl. I can find the cutest dress in the world but if I’m in a bad mood no matter how cute the dress I’m not going to be attractive.
  
  Listen, you’re eleven years old, at that age I thought the exact same things “I really think this guy is cute but he doesn’t even know I exist… and no wonder since I’m so ugly…” etc. By the time I got into high school I was so focused on my friends and accepting myself (trust me if you don’t love yourself no one else will be attracted to you either) that it came as such a surprise to me when I had 3 guys asking me out. I realize now that the only thing that had changed was how I thought of myself and it worked. So be young, enjoy your friends, and wait for the right guy to find you. Trust me it’ll happen.
